Am i wrong (i do not think so...) or it does not exist one big book (in colours with photos too) about the full history of the Patriots ?

i really would like one with, year per year from day 1, the detailed history plus photos in colours (or at the very beginning also black and white photos)...

do you think there will be one in the future ?

i will love it...

i bought ''tale from the patriots sidelines' and i liked it a lot but i would like a bigger one with year per year the detailed story of our team...

someone thinks there will be one in the future ?

George Sullivan wrote a excelleant one in the seventies.
Wish i still had it lost it when i moved.
I know its out of print but the libary had it 2 years ago.

do you know the 'title' and where i could buy it ?
was it the only one ?

it`s called the new england patriots
from 1960 to 1973
yea you can but it at
www.albris.com
you won`t believe the price
its $149.90

There has been a lot of talk year after year about this...no one has wanted to do this..not Ron Hobson who has covered the team since it's start, Leigh Montvale who covered the team for a long time or anyone.. Ther eis a large void here..with an incredibly rich and interesting history...but it is a no go...

very very strange...

i think that a book with the FULL history (year per year from day 1 till today)
of the Boston Patriots-New England Patriots could sell really surely thousands copies...

i hope that someone will do it soon...

i need it...

if someone has it and if he is disposal to send it to me i will return it after i read it

A resent book by Michael Felger called Tales from the Patriots Sideline, Not bad it covers them from 1960 to 2000. Other then that yes a good book is needed. I would love to see a DVD of the history also.

i totally agree with you. i bought Felger one and i liked but i would like one with a better coverage year per year since day one...i big one...

very very strange that with the recent success no-one has done it yet...

it should sell a lot in my opinion.

i would buy also of course a dvd with the full history too as you said.

Got to the Barnes and Noble web page. Go to the Advanced Search option. Type "New England Patriots" in the title line. You will find several histories of the Patriots, including one that traces the team from 1960 by a James Rothaus (available for $14.44 not $149).

i hope to find it.

let's hope there will be soon a new book with the global history of the Pats.
From day 1...
From the 'Boston Patriots' !

yea but thats not buy george sullivan

yes. probably you are talking about something different but thanks to both - i will take a 'general' look.

i would like to give priority if i find something about the 'old days'...

i loved to read about the past (Billy Sullivan etc etc).

If you're a fan from way back, Italian Pat, you know the story of the original Patriots is a great tale.

One man with a dream and little else manages to create a succesful Football franchise where others have failed.

Of course, the true comedy and tragedy aspects are almost hard to believe.

I hope Mr. Hobson will get a collaborator if that's what it takes.

I've always thought it would make a great movie also.

Holovak had a book...

I remember years ago reading a book, ghost written for coach Mike Holovak. It covered the early years and some of the ridiculous goings on of the formative Patriots.

Any body recall that?
