Very good article on why bad policies don't work and more important simple clear explanation of why class warfare tax policy fails, and hurts the economy.

That is quite possibly the worst article I have ever had the misfortune of reading.

The opening paragraph said it all. The quotation marks are the authors, not mine.

Well that is what Obama said, so why is using Obama's words to talk policy a bad thing?

IIRC he said that to Joe the Plumber and of course has advocated taxing 'millionaires and billionaires' as part of the Debt ceiling negotiations.

Haven't we raised taxes on the wealthy in the past? What calamitous economic effects have we endured as a result?

I take it you weren't here for the Carter years.

BTW I notice you could challenge the numbers documenting the negative effects on the economy of lib class warfare tax policies.

You can't pick and choose what instances you care to cite. Either it's a de facto rule, or it isn't.

    Be specific.

Reagan had higher taxes than Obama...

    infact EVERYONE did....

except for the time right before the great depression. Hmmmmm.......

This isn't rocket science. Here is a simple graph:

please stop cherry picking. Data is a funny thing.

Not sure if this is the place for my post but I have some facts.

1). Obama become President in January 2009.
2). The budget* Bush signed ended in September of 2009.

*The budget didn't include the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan and still added at least $400 billion to the deficit.

Where were the "cap, cut and balance" folks back then?

We all know Arnold is a POS, but 13 calling out Jerry Brown is a joke. He hasn't even been in office for a year.

California has a GDP bigger than most Country's but I guess 13 thinks that Brown should have solved everything in 6 months.
