There's no statute of limitations on treason (something certain members of this forum would do well for themselves to rememer).

"This is Jane Fonda speaking from Hanoi, and I'm speaking particularly to the U.S servicemen...I don't know what your officers tell you...but [your] weapons are illegal and that's not just rhetoric...The men who are ordering you to use these weapons are war criminals according to international law, and in the past, in Germany and Japan, men who committed these kinds of crimes were tried and executed." Boy don't that picture make you want to hit old "Sh!t Jaws Kerry" in the face with a shovel.

Remember "Bella Abzug" the wacky feminist, she looked like she crawled out of a cave back in "2 million BC", Kerry had sex with her in the back of Joan Baez's Volkswagen Van, a pregnancy resulted from this union, when the baby was born it scared the sh!t out of everybody present, they put it in a box with holes in it then took it to the Black Panthers Clubhouse, Jesse Jackoff took one look at it and shot it. It had a big long sh!tty Jaw just like it's fathers and it drooled, it also had hair all over its body just like it's mother. The body is now in a jar in the "Room Of Freaks" at the Smithsonian Institute. Teresa said that if this story is true she isn’t going to let Long John wear his medals around the house anymore, and she will take his allowance away from him.
Jesse Jackoff said when he saw it, “some white bastard must be that things father”, he now denies saying this, because he voted for “Fonda Hero Kerry”

Jane Fonda wanted to be the Godmother to "Kerrys Thing"

The traitors of yesterday - just like the traitors of today - support and contribute to the killing of American soliders. You know who you are.

    END OF STORY.

look everyone!!! there's an unabashed HR 1955 supporter right now...

anyhow, why don't you man-up and explain more clearly exactly what you mean regarding your smarmy sentence in paranthesis? how is dissent speech regarding the crimes of your favorite administration somehow "treasonous?"

    oh, that's right... it isn't...

    Presonal attacks aside..... ;-)

I believe its the 1st amendment to the constitution (I'm not a constitutional scholar) that gives every american the right to free speech. Oh, I just googled it.....Here it is:
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
and you talk about TREASON....You are talking about a speach that Jane Fonda gave and calling it TREASON????...And somehow NOT bringing up the outting of a CIA Operative (you would rather believe she was not covert) and NOT bringing up False intel aboutut yellow cake brought before the UN and worse...the american people. You somehow stand behind 'enhanced interrogation" like its old frickin glory.

I am so glad there is no statute of limitations on Treason, your boy bush will be living inside of a cell if there is such a thing a justice.

What personal attack...? Whom have I personally attacked in that statement..?
Come on Holy Diver, you're smarter than that. The "freedom of speech" clause to the first amendment has limits, and you know it. You cannot incite a riot and hide behind the first amendment. You cannot plot to kill someone or overthrow the government and hide behind the first amendment. And you cannot provide comfort and support to an enemy and hide behind the first amendment.

There is a world of difference between genuine dissent, based on respect for the public good, and self-serving dissent, aimed at helping only a small segment of the public.

It's the difference between true freedom and "license". With freedom their is always responsibility: responsibility for the whole purpose, as well as for the individual purpose. If either of the two is absent, there is no true freedom; it is only a sham of freedom, known as "license".

The dissent of America's forefathers was against a self-serving monarchy in a far-off land, one that limited the freedoms of the people in ways to inhibit the overall public welfare, while simultaneously benefiting the monarchs and their few chosen supporters.

By your definition Fonda would qualify for the former, as what she was doing was actually representing many people who were against the war.. not sure where you were, but at that time most people were against our involvement.. so she actually represented the majority. As an antiwar person at that time, Fonda was just another big name trying to make a point in an effort to stop the war.. not sure if I agree with her, but in the really big scale of what was happening her involvement registered about a 1.0 on the antiwar richter scale.. it is a bigger deal now, then it was then. It is just another self serving rightie talking point... that eventually leads to the conclusion that dissent against the war is bad, because of what she did.. just be a sheeple the gov't is here to help you.

I was in the Army from 69-70, and what she did registered on every single member of the Armed Forces, bar none. Because her father, Henry, was a famous -- and mostly pro-American -- actor, she got a huge pass. But her short-sighted, egoistical antics, did more to harm the morale in America than just about anything anyone else did, including nobody John F-ing Kerry. "Reporting for duty", yeah, right.

Misguided idealists living in their own little worlds of fantasy and dreams, totally devoid of knowing what evils they were ignoring.

Remember the "Boat People" of Southeast Asia.

Remember the "Killing Fields" of Cambodia. (Remember the crucifixion of Nixon for having the temerity to bomb the Vietcong trail through Cambodia.)

What a hell, and there was Jane Fonda, sitting with the VC/NVA, on one of their ack-ack guns, aiming at U.S. planes, saying how "Americans" were the "bad guys". Sickening today, as it was then.

"Spell check can be a very good friend.." - gjaj15 Actually, you seem to have tremendous confusion with words that sound like other words so maybe spellcheck isn't really a very good friend of yours... a low budget spellchecker ain't going to pick those up...

But you'd think someone who lived in glasses houses wouldn't throw stones, huh..?

Thought you were all for "equality", the "Libertarian way"!!?? Oh, it must be only YOUR take on "equality" that you support; everyone else is "wrong". Gotcha.
