You see, I keep scratchin' me head ..

    We spent over $500 Billion.

    We are spending $300 million a day ... $10 Billion a month ...

We are sending 150,000 American soldiers to WAR ..

We sent 2,500 young American soldiers to their deaths ...

Thousands more young Americans are without arms and legs ...

Over 50,000 Iraqi children and civilians are dead ....

We did ALL THESE THINGS TO FIGHT TERRORISM ...

So why is the BIGGEST TERRORISTS still ALIVE and WELL and living in Afghanistan under the nose of American soldiers??

Didn't we declare that AMERICA WILL CAPTURE OSAMA DEAD OR ALIVE??

So why is Mr. Bin Laden still ALIVE?

We all wish he were dead. But killing him and getting retribution for 9/11, isn't the important thing. Stopping future attacks is. As I have said a million times, we could well be unsucessful in that endeavor but the future threat is what matters.

If stopping future terrorism is the most important thing, what we are doing in Iraq?

Clinton and bush have been totally inept with bin laden. With Iraq if you ask that question you get a laundry list of explanations. Lets start off with the wmd's, Well after hundreds of billions and tens of thousands of lives, that blindfold has been laundered transparently clean. Saddam and the 911 connection refer to above statement. Nuclear capability, again refer to above statement. So what is left, hey on the brightside we are building schools, fixing roads did I mention we are building schools and fixing roads. C'mon iraq is safer then d.c. baltimore and detroit, and were building schools and fixing roads. Whats important in the war on terrorism is schools and roads. What's matter with you are you a sympathizer for bad schools and roads:)

Trying to kill the terrorists. They may not have been there before the war but they are now. Personally I think the area is just too infested to ever end it but that's what we're doing there.

    Why is he alive still???
He still can be used as someone to hate and point to...We'll get him (sooner or later..when he is of no more use to us...to scare the US...)
Who are the terrorists in Iraq??? Many are citizens of Iraq who are not happy with the US being there..a smaller percentage are others who have gone into Iraq to fight the US...it's a BIG battleground now..And who created the many terrorists???
I doubt many at all would be there if the invasion had not taken place..
But then again, Al-Qada was near death after 911...split divisionally and dying quickly..not at all like it has been..and what revived it??? The good old invasion of Iraq....ODD that what has fueled the terrorists is the person who supposedly is fighting it all...
Sometimes just fighting to wipe something out while looks good has other unwanted consequences...like creating MORE and MORE terrorists..

Since you seem to think the occupation is futile - is that right? - then do you you think we should be there now, killing terrorists that are there now? You can't make sense of the rationale, so how can you support the action as they are now.

Has the thought ever crossed your mind that when you enact war on a country that its citizens just might fight back. Shocking revelation, who woulda thunk it, except some boneheaded history readers.

No confusion, I have said for a while I would withdraw completely as long as we get the oil we need. I supported going in because I was under the impression that 75+% of midde easterners were anti-terrorism and would rush into the streets to support us and kill the terrorists. Obviously that thinking was wrong. So, yes, I would get out as long as the oil flows - let's not be mistaken, we do need the oil.

Honestly, I don't care. As long as the oil flows. The innocents who would be killed in the aftermath haven't stood up and helped us defeat the terrorists so I would shrug my shoulders.

I am not worried about the violence against iraqies and never have, are you worried that iraq could resemble afghanistan after the russians pulled-out. History often repeats itself even in these Modern Times.

Sadly, it is good business for the Bush Administration to keep OBL alive, certainly up until 2004.

Nat saying this is happening but.... if you knew where OBL and Zawahiri were and were tacking their communications, would you be better served by using the info to capture them or would you do a better job by using that info to dismantle the organization, by tracking the links and identifing cells worldwide?

Just a thought experment. Again I am not saying this is happening, I have no idea.

Striesand & Gang will destroy this guy, now you will see Real Discrimination in action, Rourke will never work in Hollywood again after the "Liberal Sore Loser Killers" get done with him. Watch how kind and commpassionate the Liberals can really be. "FREEDOM OF CHOICE AND SPEECH" but the Liberals will make him pay dearly.

MICKEY ROURKE has pledged his support for US President GEORGE W BUSH's controversial foreign policy in Iraq. The SIN CITY actor, who is famed for being outspoken, has come forward as one of the few stars to support the war on terror. The former boxer says, "George is doing a hell of a job during very difficult times, more power to him. Screw all them people who don't like him."

Watch out Mickey, the Sarandon "Hit Men" are coming after you.

    Mickey Rourke??

    The Mickey Rourke??

Isn't he the the X-rated actor who fornicated with all his leading ladies?

    Is he still alive??

I thought he died of AIDS or something.

    He is in Sin City?

I wouldn't worry about Mickey losing his job. I believe the producer of Sin City is Republican Bruce Willis. So Mickey should be safe in his job.

Speaking of being discriminated against, I thought the real victims of discrimination are the DIXIE CHICKS:
