Okay, the media will hype up the Giants, w/e.

They are more confident...yadayada...we won 18 in a row, talk about confidence.

-BB has 2 weeks to prepare for a team has played twice, once in the regular season, once preseason.

-He knows Tom Coughlin from Parcells

-The Pats didn't show the Giants a lot on defense, so Manning likely won't replicate his numbers

-The Pats were missing K Brady, Neal and Kazcur, and still hung 38 points on a defense people say is great with the pass rush.

-Lomo and co. are running the ball better

-Eli Manning is still Eli Manning, so with all the SB pressure, will he perform?

-Burress will be doubleteamed, something he hasn't been in GB or TB.

-The Pats have been stopping the run, so Jacobs and Bradshawn won't hurt us much.

-They are in the NFC. They look better than what they are because they play in the NFC.

-No NFC has won a SB since 2002. Pats, Pats, Steelers, Colts

-The Giants went all out, we didn't.

-Lastly and more importantly, Brady never has two bad games in a row, and he is amazing in all 3 SB's.

Absolutely fan-boyish humiliating. "The Giants went all out, we didn't." Please. KFFL beckons.

the giants will lose because they are playing the pats.

I meant by showing plays. The Pats had a simple defense and offense, while the Giants were more complex showing more schemes than we did.

If that's what your saying, then your right. I've heard from a few knowlegable sources, the Pats defense has looked bland, nothing but basic stuff until the 4th quarter lately.

Just a few reasons I do not think the game will be close by the 3rd quarter:

    - Two weeks for BB and Brady to prepare

    - Matchups, I don't see one that favors the G-Men (the Giants do not have the talent level of SD)

    - Injuries, yes they have two weeks off but we are lot healthier then they

    - Super Bowls are generally about the QB position and Eli is no Brady or even Peyton for that matter

    - 35-21 and not as close as that score implies

Because they aren't as good as the Patriots.

The Giants will lose because the Patriots know they could very well win.

Also, I don't have a schedule handy to reference but when was the last time the Pats played in warm weather? Seems to me they played the majority of their latter part of the schedule in cold weather or cold weather cities.

Give this offense two weeks to prepare to play in conditions ideal for this type of offensive firepower? Pats 35, Giants 17.

haha seriously just imagine 70 degree weather & no wind..it cant get better!..if brady played average last night & they still easily won imagine what they'll do to the giants if brady comes out with his A game..i dont care how much the giants score..the pats will put up more points then them..mark my word!

Agree completely... Brady didn't look well yesterday (battling illness probably) but still managed to do reasonably well, despite his condition and the cold, wind, etc..

Plus, he's got the one bad game out of the way .... Now, it's show time at the SB ... GMen will be happy to have just made it ... I don't think any of them seriously expect to win. However, I think they will play and try to, which will make the game exciting ....

It could if they were playing on field turf.

See now, this is what I don't get. The Giants beat Dallas & GB by three points a game so they've "come up big" and have the "mo"; the Pats beat Jax & SD by 10 points a game so they're looking weak and vulnerable and have no "mo."

Plus the Giants are supposed to get more credit because "pundits thought they had no business winning"? In other words, the Giants should be favored because they have less talent?

I don't know about you guys, but I'd love to see the Pats blow the Giants out.Forget an entertaining SB.I want the Pats to embarrass the Giants.

And you know this how? Have you broken down film from that game and others?

Look, the giants are a solid team. They will be able to make plays with Burress and Bradshaw. But they are just not as good as the Patriots. It has nothing to do with "Belichick knows Coughlin" or "Belichick has two weeks to prepare". The players are just better and more experienced. This isn't rocket science.

haha true but i think it'll be alright..hopefully maroney comes out strong with the running & sets up a few brady td's..& if we put a lot of pressure on eli he'll most likely throw a few picks..this guy cant last this long wihout a turnover..its eli manning! who would of ever thought he would be our opponent haha

The cooler weather has obviously had an effect on the Pats offense. No one should take the Giants for granted, but its hard to see the Patriots scoring less than 35 points in ideal conditions. Brady is 11-1 in domes, 27-4 versus the NFC, and 14-2 in the playoffs. He is also 38-2 on artificial turf, but this indoor arena Burdmuda grass!

One other observation, Eli Manning threw 20 interceptions and had 7 fumbles during the regular season. He has yet to throw an interception or fumble the ball in the post season. Could this be the game that the coach (I don't mean Coughlin) turns into a pumpkin?
