I guess i just dont understand how liberals could hate this country..
And before I get NEM and PAtters into a frothing fit, let me provide some examples:

Al Gore going to Saudi Arabia telling them that we mistreat Arabs

Billy Zane defending acting in a movie with the sole purpose of making the US look like sadistic murderers, (By the way, the #1 best selling book over in Turkey? Mien Kampf)

John Kerry and all that BS he was spewing for his chalet in Switzerland.

Cindy Sheehan giving props to Hugo Chavez

    Jimmy Carter.....oh nevermind.

So WTF? Why are libs so anti-American?

They hate America as it is, the people rejected theM at the polls, TWICE, they can't constantly have their own way, they no longer control how we hear our news (talk radio, limbaugh, internet, cable news and bloggers) we now learn thing s they never wanted us to know, in short, THEY NO LONGER HAVE CONTROL.

Also, they don't believe in fighting back "SURRENDER" is their way, they despise the military, they can't stand patriotism, they have now turned on the Christian God, they strongly believe in FORCING "THEIR WAY" onto the people, and the Loopy Ba-tards always think they are right.

They are now going through "Panic Meltdown", the people know that if Liberalism were allowed to rule that the Radical Savage's all over the world would surely "DESTROY AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT".

I would doubt that you love your freedom. It appears that you place much greater value on bowing down to the chief executive of the U.S. and submitting yourself to his desires.

If you loved freedom, you would value the efforts of Cindy Sheehan. At least at the beginning.
If you loved freedom, you would rail against a domestic spying program.
If you loved freedom, you would oppose the Patriot Act.
If you loved freedom, you would speak out against a SCOTUS with Sam Alito on the bench.
If you loved freedom, you would support Hugo Chavez.
If you loved freedom, you wouldn't harrass gays and lesbians over their choices of partners.

Supporting a President's war, which is dubious at best, and illegal and immoral at worst, doesn't make you a freedom loving American. Sorry.

I suppose we could use the same skewed logic to ask why do Conservatives hate America -- failing to fix the levees in New Orleans, failing to adequately help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, tarnishing our image of a moral people by legalizing torture, sending billions of dollars to Iraq while children here don't have health insurance, allowing the destruction of our natural beauty in exchange for a little bit of oil, putting unqualified cronies (like Brown and Chertoff) into positions that affect people's lives, launching a needless war that has caused 2200 deaths and counting, failing to take care of our soldiers by providing them with proper armor, failing to take care of our soldiers by strengthening our VA hospitals, trying to deny women the freedom over their own bodies, trying to deny gays equal rights, trying to diminish civil rights legislation (such as the Voting Rights Act), and so on. ELOrocks, you may think, you love America, but it's obvious that your America excludes a lot of Americans.

Umm...which side of the spectrum is trying to "Force" the "American way" onto people who aren't American? Which side is trying to "Force" Christianity on it's population, many of which aren't Christian? I want to go on, but I've got to get a few things done. You're statement is beyond silly.

Sure, we could look at it like that. Or we could look at it like this: you're ignorant, you run your mouth, you're disrespectful, closed-minded, bigoted, and self-important. Apparantly we can add "not instraspective enough" to the list.

I guess you have forgotten that freedom comes at a price--freedom means opposing the patriot act? Are you high? I guess in your America you are free as long as you dont upset anyone.

Seems fair if you're going to blame all liberals for hating America.

Hmm..i see. According to you, Our soldiers were not killed by terrorist bullets or roadside bombs, but rater Bush personally killed them eh? The city of New Orleans, which sits 8 feet below sea level would have been completely saved if only that evil Bush funnelled a couple of more billions into the levy system--(nevermind that in 2004 and 2005 the city was given over $100 million dollars to fix the levy's--dont let that get in the way of your little smear campaing)

Legalizing torture? Where did you hear that from? Al Franken, or Ed Shultz?

Are you serious, ELOrocks? Don't you read the newspapers? This is common knowledge. Bush actually threatened to veto the military budget over this issue. I guess this is what happens when you only get your news from ranting righties like Savage.

First of all, I sharply disagree with Al Gore, I did not vote for him, I could not, and what he did in front of America hating Saudis is disgusting.

As far as Billy Zane, and the movie "Valley of the Wolves" goes, using your logic; the movie Midnight Express, and the episodes of 24 and West Wing, on which Turkey (our ally) was unjustly slimed, were okay???
It is okay for us to sh.t on our allies and portray them any way we wish in our movies and TV shows, but when they do the same, we should complain and question our alliance?

Oliver Stone, last year apologized to Turkey 25 years after making Midnight Express, for not having done his homework, prior to making this movie, but the damage was huge and irreparable. How irresponsible!

Also, what you did not include was that Mien Kampf was just recently made available to the general public in Turkey, prior to that, for many years, it was illegal to publish and / or to distribute it, which is one of the reasons for the book's hitting the best seller list.

And now that we are in a question asking mode, let me ask you one:

What does the fact that the person that you have most in common with in this forum, is an ignorant, hateful, racist, 8th grade drop-out, tell you?

Yeah, support someone who has the balls to say "no" to America, and strive for freedom for HIS people. Absolutely.

I would trade W. for Chavez, and throw in a #1 draft pick into the mix as well.

    Yes, absolutely.
He is a democratically elected, hugely popular leader with balls.
His people elected him freely and they love him.

Since the intent of the Patriot Act is in direct conflict with personal freedoms, I don't see any other way.

Yes. Freedom comes at a price. Many people over 200 years ago fought against an occupying British force, and then 30 years later, an invading British force. Early last century Many Americans died defending European countries against Nazism.

How do these situations fit in with invading a sovereign country on a President's personal agenda? What are we getting for the price paid? Bush, Cheney, and others getting filthy rich, a guarantee of terrorist attacks until the end of time, Bush getting a larger chapter in the history books, etc.

Freedom isn't free. Muslems understand that well, and they're fighting to preserve their freedom against an invading power.
