.

The slimeball, Zelaya, has snuck back into Honduras, and is holed up in the Brazilian embassy there -- Brazil's current president being a leftie himself -- and is continuing with his obsessive attempt to overthrow Honduras' will of the people, her Constitution. Why is it that dictators ALWAYS fight to overthrow their own country's constitutions??? Castro, Chavez, Morales, Lenin, Mao, Ho, Ortega, ..... all of them wanted to change their nation's constitutions to allow THEMSELVES to seize power. Tyranny exposed, in plain view.

Ousted president Zelaya returns to Honduras

By Gustavo Palencia and Edgar Garrido

TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) - Ousted President Manuel Zelaya sneaked back into Honduras on Monday almost three months after he was toppled in a coup, and took refuge in the Brazilian embassy to avoid arrest by the de facto government.

Zelaya's ouster on June 28 in a dispute over presidential term limits plunged Honduras into its worst political conflict in decades, and was condemned by U.S. President Barack Obama, the European Union and Latin American governments.

Zelaya had been in exile mostly in Nicaragua while a de facto government that backed the coup against him became more entrenched in office, defying international calls to allow the leftist president to return.

    Hell on earth continues.

Does Obama plan to retire to Saudi??? Or maybe Qatar??? What's up with that??

Another worthless thread by the resident idiot. Zelaya issued a poll asking the voters how they would feel about holding a referendum to discuss constitutional reform. His actions are both well within the constitution and not sufficient for a minority of thugs to overthrow him by force.

I'm not anymore surprised that you despise democracy than I am that you aren't even remotely familiar with the topics you pontificate on on a daily basis.

Oh, and the tyrants who have STOLEN power and subverted democracy in Honduras won't be maintaining their dictatorship much longer:

Oh, so your idea of a democracy is to dispel with the Congress, ignore the Courts, throw out the Constitution and just do a "poll"????? WTH!!!!

I get it: 'cause Teddy could walk after killing Mary Jo, and Clinton could walk after lying to a Grand Jury, you think ANYBODY who suits YOUR political persuasion should be able to just do anything he wants????

Nah, dude. That's called an insurrection, a revolution, a treason. Very, very bad stuff. If Zelaya continues his campaign, he may talk himself into the Saddam exit model. The usual last resort for traitors and insurrectionists.

No. Maybe you should try reading and thinking a little before you post utter nonsense. Nowhere in anything I said did I even come close to advocating dispeling congress, ignoring the courts and throwing out the constitution. Conversely, that's exactly what you are advocating by embracing the dictators in power in Honduras.

You don't even know what the constitution says, what the issues are involved with POSSIBLY reforming it and who supported the idea of a referendum. Why do you keep spouting off ignorance even after I gave yo information? I know you didn't read what I posted, but I even bolded it for you for crying out loud. Maybe next time I'll write it in crayon for you:

    No.

Bottom line: you support dictators in Honduras. Sorry nutjob, but 90% of the entire world disagrees with you and the tyrants in power.

I really don't think I've encountered someone as willfully an stubbornly ignorant as you anywhere else on the internet. It's almost as though you relish in stupidity.

The ONLY one trying to be a dictator is the one guy who subverted his own constitution by side-stepping the two other branches of government: Zelaya. There's a reason why the Founders created three co-equal branches of government -- Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary -- and it was prevent JUST THIS KIND OF DICTATORIAL TAKE-OVER that Zelaya attempted to do. He does NOT make the laws; the Honduras Congress does, just as here in the United States.

Why don't you go live in Cuba or Venezuela. We don't want commie shiit in America.

Are you just trying to be annoying at this point?

He issued a poll for a possible CONGRESSIONAL referendum on constitutional reform.

At no time did he subvert the constitution, sidestep congress or the undermine the judicial branch.

The only people who have done that are the ones who took power BY FORCE that you support.

I'm done with this conversation, and all others with you. You don't react or even respond to anything anyone posts. All you do is keep posting the same garbage platitudes and factless assertions like a broken record. I have better things to do than repeat myself trying to educate a 60 year old Lithuanian cultist weirdo on the internet who can't understand basic logic, respond to simple arguments or even digest the easiest of facts when presented with them.

Have fun cheering on your Honduran dictatorship, the world is against you as are the Honduran people.

The idiot president that you sympathize with did. Why don't you start there in answering your own question?

Your situational ethics are shining through again, Fraud.

You guys love to name call and insult certain people that have a differing view. It's unreal, you did it to NEP and now mostly Foggy. I am not saying I agree with what these people are saying or where they are coming from. On the outside looking in you guys seem like real insecure j@ck@sses. I didn't use names because it's rude, don't be a burro and have some dignity.

I think this Presidency early on stated how they were going to deal with the trouble makers of the world. They have certainly held fast to their open dialog policy. I can't fault them for trying to change their or our approach to the world. Certainly it is worth a shot. Hopefully if they start seeing that the old ways are the new ways they'll be smart enough to alter their plan. I also don't have a problem getting into bed with my enemies. Keep em close. Our new approach to old enemies shouldn't be be tied to socialism or any of that other hogwash. That's where they lose me and I'll believe it when I see it.

not only did you contradict yourself from one sentence to the next, but please don't embarrass yourself further by pretending you've never called anyone names...

shall we review your snotty jab at Patters as "comrade?"...

    how about these beauties:

This is typical of a lefty loon. Demonize someone in business for making a profit, shame on them.

Self Diluted Liberal's Unite, Wonder Powers!, Whatever......

Plenty more, if you like. But the point is clear: You're no better than anyone here in terms of fostering civility. Please don't act like you're above it all.

I don't have a problem with a differing viewpoint. I have a problem with someone who makes no effort to even respond to counter-arguments and just reiterates the same tired crap while throwing in snide comments about bongs. NEPatriot is the same way except he just starts an idiotic thread and leave. Fog starts an idiotic thread and then doesn't address any of the points made to refute him or just deflects wildly to some irrelevant topic. His only goqal is to propagate, not discuss. I have no patience for people like that, especially when the garbage they are pushing is maddeningly simplistic and easily debunked.

    :blahblah:............:blahblah:...........

Zelaya floated a "poll", which is NOT his position, NOT his job, NOT his responsibility to do. Absolutely 100% NOT what the president of Honduras is allowed to do under the Honduras Constitution. Zelaya should have asked the Honduras Congress to issue such a "poll", much as the U.S. president MUST SUBMIT HIS BILLS to the U.S. Congress.

Zelaya absolutely did NOT do that. Zelaya attempted an "end-around" the Congress of Honduras, the Courts of Honduras, and the Constitution of Honduras by his naked attempt at a power grab to STEAL the presidency for his own personal agenda. Nothing more, NOTHING LESS. It was a stark NAKED POWER GRAB on the part of Zelaya, telling the Honduras Congress, Courts, and Constitution to "go to hell".

Zelaya has gotten what he has earned; he's lucky he was not taken out and shot, as Ceaucescu in Romania, Mussolini in Italy, or hanged like Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

Zelaya is a thug, a bully, an insurrectionist trying to steal Honduras for his own private agenda. Period. His mentors are Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, two people as opposed to democracy as there ever have been; nothing more than bloody dictators, tyrants.

Yep. Pretty much sums up my attitude on this, too. I've had friends from the hard left -- actually much more sympathetic to them than those on the hard right; MUCH more -- but they all lose me when they decide that "violent revolution" is the answer. Uh-uh. Not for me, not any more. I've seen where all the "glorious revolutions" in Russia (1917), China (1935-48), Cuba (1957-59), Vietnam (1953-75), Cambodia, Grenada, Angola, Zimbabwe, et. al., have ended up. Terrible, miserable results. Unbelievable suffering, destruction, despair, hopelessness, and cynicism. That's hell.

    No more, no way.
