I know we all like to blame the offensive playcalling. But these are plays that we have practiced, and we should be able to get it done, regardless.

Fans are afraid to criticize Brady or the offense since they put up big yards.

The big elephant in the room is how easily this offense is stopped when they actually need to win the game...

Simple. Because with BB and him we have 3 SB's. Without them we have Zero.

He's good for one brainfart per game....usually in the endzone.

Because by and large most of us realize that to do so just proves you're an idiot.

Brady is not this teams problem. There are lots of them, though. Too many in fact for him to rescue them from singlehandedly.

The thing is you can't pin it ALL on Brady.

Peyton is probably the only player good enough now to overcome obvious predictability, but no other player in the NFL is good enough is triple teamed, or forced to execute when the other team knows what you are doing.

Brady simply doesn't look like the same QB this year. His strength was always going through his reads, quickly identifying who the open receiver would be, and getting him the ball. This year he too often seems to have decided who to throw to before the snap, and forces it in regardless of what the coverage looks like.

Whether that's a result of a change in Brady or in the offense, it often leads to some bizarre plays in key situations.

I don't think this is Brady but more a product of the play calling.

Exactly. If we are so content with just watching the championship DVDs, then we might as well just stop rooting for this team.

He can't rush the Passer, but he can CERTAINLY stop throwing into triple coverage and chucking it to the other team, IN THE EZ of all places!!
Tommy has gotten careless with the ball, IDGAS what the excuses are, because that's all they are..excuses

Forget the singlehandedly crap, he needs to take better care of the ball and make better decisions, THAT is what HE can CONTROL, the Defense/Playcalling Etc... are OTHER problems that are out of his hands.

Like Bill says: Do YOUR job and we'll be fine, he has his own responsibilities, and protecting the ball is at the TOP of the list.

Brady is not what he used to be, plain and simple.

His downfield accuracy, he seems to over-rely on Welker, he doesn't seem relaxed in the pocket (especially when Matt Light is playing), and he's been forcing bad passes. That last INT he threw today to seal the loss was vintage Drew Bledsoe, taking a few yards loss on a sack is bad but throwing an INT is the worst.

Guess you haven't read any of my posts because I'm constantly on Brady for his obsessive Randy Moss binky love which has him throwing critical red zone/points off the board/mo changing picks to his double and triple covered binky.
The O numbers in '07 were skewed because they blew out so many teams and scored so many easy points in those blowouts. If you will recall this O began to have more and more struggles as that season went along because the D's started to play them differently and made adjustments.
It's almost as if this Patriots QB is still in that '07 mindset and hasn't made any adjustments himself. '07 is turnng out to be a curse for this team and I'm more convinced than ever that Tom Brady is suffering an '07 hangover. Tom hasn't realized that the rest of the league has the Brady/Moss show all figured out and he needs to re-adjust his focus with this offense.

Its his first year back after a serious injury. While he is not nearly the QB of 2007, we have legitimate hope for Tom Brady improvement in 2010, due to health alone.

    I disagree.

Brady is just as good as he was in 2004.

The problem is that any player can't single-handedly win a game against 11 defenders who know what you are doing.
