To me, this is the most perplexing reaction I have ever witnessed in my lifetime after a candidate won an election by such a WIDE margin.

It is over whelming fact that Americans have chosen Barack Obama as their next president. So why are there so many republican voters STILL airing out their frustration over something that can not and will not change.

Obama stepping into the office of president of the United States of America is as certain as death & taxes. Yet there is so much commentary even before he gets sworn in.

    Particularly on this board.

    GIVE IT UP FELLA'S!!!

You are missing the boat on this one PR ... it has nothing to do with anger at all and everything to do with our sacred Constitution of the United States.

Now ... let me tell you where this is headed. Push will come to shove and it will be an argument over does a naturalized citizen have the right to run vs an American born citiizen ... you heard it hear 1st.

You have your opinion and mine is you have no respect for our Constitution ... sorry ... that's the way it is ... literal vs interpreted versions ... I'll take literal all day long.

First of all IcyPat, the belly-aching is NOT all about a birth certificate and you know it. This thread isn't about that issue either. Take away the BC (non)issue, and you still have thread after thread showing anger and frustration over Obama's victory.

Regarding the constitution, as far as I know, the requirement has been satisfied. I trust our system and part of that system is to check to make sure a candidate is a natural US citizen.

Do you actually believe people would join him in his campaign if these things were not verified? Get real IcyPat.

You've been trying to tear the man down for months now.

Read the 14th Amendment I posted in the other thread ... that's all I have to say until December 5th. If Clarence Thomas decides the point is not valid then I'll be satisfied.

    I read it...and?

...hold on tight. If this was a big issue, it would be all over the news. I say it's sour grapes and I guess the media agrees.

I do not understand why you continually respond to only the points yu choose rather than all points in a post you select.

    For example, you said exactly nothing about the following points;

    1. Regarding the constitution, as far as I know, the requirement has been satisfied. I trust our system and part of that system is to check to make sure a candidate is a natural US citizen.

    2. Do you actually believe people would join him in his campaign if these things were not verified? Get real IcyPat.

Just because it won't change doesn't mean we can't be angry and frustrated about it. I know I am.

    Didn't you get the memo?

A half-Black man is President, it signals the end of the White man's civilization as we know it. Time to bring back the KKK and White supremecism, we are losing our country!!

I am a right wing guy who did not support Obama.

Now that Obama has been elected president, I hope he does a great job (I really do). This is no time for partisan politics. There is too much on the line.

I also hope that you democrats will start rooting for the US troops in our
two wars. Too many democrats were rooting against our troops during the
election in fear that it may help McCain.

really? What Democrats were rooting against the troops? They might have been rooting against a policy that was putting the troops in a bad situation. That is not rooting against the troops.

Clinton got a BJ in the white house and they were calling for a public execution. Bush has totally and irrevocably destroyed our country and he will get a parade and "job well done". That's why this country is hopeless. People are so whacked out on religious BS and their own uptight morality that they would like to shove down everyone else's throats, that they have lost sight of the big picture a long time ago.

Actually, most think Obama's word is awesome....where you been icy one?

Please list this "number of lies" for us. Oh, and don't include campaign promises that may of may not be kept as every candidate in our history can never fulfill all there promises.

I'll be waiting for this list of SPECIFIC lies....liar;)

The angrier the Icy one gets, the more the media seems to compliment Obama. I watch both Fox and CNN and I'm amazed at the number of compliments their hosts have given to him lately (of course we have to exclude Sean "the redneck bubba" hannity)

You know IcyPatriot...I suggest you sit at home and cry yourself to sleep everynight over the failure of Hillary's campaign, McCain's inadequacies as a man and of course, Obama's great victory.
