I got a kick out of how the author said Jackson has assistant coaches, trainers and scouts so its more complicated for him, while Red did everything himself making it easier.
Maybe one of the most hideous lines in that story. Kind of like saying, BB was a better coach then Vince Lombardi (example) because BB has many more coaches, video managers, trainers, etc, etc, then Vince had.
Another point that this wayward author speaks of, is that Red never had to tinker with his team as Phil did. Actually, Red replaced more then one HOF with another HOF during his run. How's that for tinkering? Not to mention a few more hats that Red wore, player development, and draft guru.
