Starting 1-2 would hurt the Pats more than it would the Ravens.
Just my opinion of course. Arguments can be made both ways.
I'm afraid the Ravens will win handily. The Ravens D will feast on the Pats' offensive line. The Patriots defense will keep things close enough into the fourth quarter but will succumb to too much time on the field and Baltimore will win by two scores. Plus, the Ravens will be amped for revenge, the crowd will be loud, etc., etc.
Hope I'm wrong.

Either this or a 38-17 blowout in favor of Baltimore. This is the single hardest game on the schedule and there is no real shame in losing it. Losing last week doesn't change that.
Ravens will win because.....
1) 20 of last 21 wins at home......even better home record than the Pats the past 2 seasons.
2) Edelman cannot penetrate the slot like Wes can and I think Belichick continues this dumb ass game of spite tactics which is hurting the offense.
3) Hernandez creates havoc with DCs....now they just double Gronk and it gets tough,Brady to Lloyd has been mediocre and Reed is going to be tough.
4) Fans screaming and the revenge factor from the AFCCG
Only turnovers can pull this one out for the Pats IMO.
What I am wondering is what if the Pats lose to the Ravens and the Broncos lose to the Texans.
That would put Manning against Brady in a clash the following week with each QB with 2 consecutive LOSSES for thier teams and the loser going for 3 losses in a row.
I never thought I would see that happen...and hope I don't.
Except that we play AT BUF in the next game.

Brady 8-1 against the Ravens. Enough said.
Patriots 33
Ravens 28
