Who to root for week 14

I can't root for the Packers or the Broncos here.
Also I want the Giants to win so they can make it to the Super Bowl and then we can kill them.

I will be paying strong attention to the Tenn/NO game. If Tennesee beats the Saints they will really hurt the Jets chances to make the playoffs.

The Titans have all the tiebreakers over the Jets, and they have a somewhat easy schedule after the Saints. They have the Colts, Jags and Texans.

The Texan game will be tough, but by then the Texans may be locked in their seeding.

The good thing is they won't need the Texan game if the Jets lose one game.

I figure the Jets to go 3-1, and If the Titans beat the Saints they will go at least 3-1.

The Titan/Saint game will be a huge factor in determining the Jets fate.

Go Titans!

Just joking around, just thought it was funny that you say root for GB the most over hyped team in history, that gets ten times the praise we did in our superior 07 run. Sorry but a draft pick doesn't make me support that headache.

Ummm . . . I think the difference is that there hasn't been as much criticism, but I'd wager that the Pats' run at 16-0 got a lot more press (because they were blowing the doors off good-to-great teams out of the gate).

If I understand the rankings properly, if the Patriots, Ravens, Steelers and Texans all finish with the same record the Pats will be the #1 seed, the Ravens will be #2, the Texans #3 and the Steelers #5 (first wildcard).

Assuming the Ravens win the rest of their games, or at least win as many as the Steelers win, they will be the division winner since they beat the Steelers twice this season. The Pats outrank the Ravens by one of the tie-breaking rules (don't remember which right now... SOV?) but the Steelers outrank the Pats because they beat them head to head.

NO, you don't have it right.

If NE and Ravens win out Ravens will have the tie breaker on SoV. The reason why NE is currently ahead of the Raven's in the standings because the Raven's have played one less conf game than NE.

Aha. I didn't realize that.

need a ravens and texans loss..and of course a pats win...pats lose and the #1 seed is gone

I care more about the jets missing the playoffs than i do about
a. Whether we get the first or second seed
b. Any draft pick
