Can people assist me in finding out the answer to a question?

What health insurer covers Mr. Rush Limbaugh?

I'm trying to find out, but so far am having no luck

Its pretty important when it comes to this entire argument (although nothing validates him calling women sluts and prostitutes).

I can see that United Healthcare seems to cover Georgetown.

Georgetown University :: Office of Student Affairs :: Student Health Insurance

So....Unless Rush is covered by UNited Healthcare....

He isn't paying for Miss Fluke's ANYTHING!

I know he is employed by EIB and Premier Radio Networks, but would like to nail down his carrier. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would suspect as he is part of the power elite that he has some type of "boutique" medical plan that is specifically designed for his needs... I would doubt if it is public knowledge and it probably a perk that he gets as part of his contract.

    someone needs to ask him...

shocking that he'd want privacy after asking for people to post videos of them having sex for him to watch.

anyone who actually listens to him knows he pays his own way. He has zero need for insurance, he could buy and sell hospitals without knowing it.

but guess what? fluke wants all americans to pay for her having sex. How insane is that?

Oh. and he isn't employed by anyone. He solely owns eib and is paid to have his show sent to his more than 600 affiliates.

    (slow golf clap)

so ..... he signed his $400million contract with himself?

    gotcha

    not clear channel? thats interesting!

then this WSJ article about him signing a 400 million dollar deal with them must be fake?

Clear Channel, Limbaugh Ink $400 Million New Contract - WSJ.com

If he does pay his own way...he has less of a stance on this issue than I thought.

Guess what? The right-wingers want me and others to pay for false wars? Guess what? Rush and other right-wingers want me and others to pay for tax breaks for the rich? Guess what? The right-wingers want to start another war, and guess who they want to pay for it?

    How insane is that???

btw its called a government mandate, you and other don't pay ****....You would know that if you did a little research.....

That would make sense as it probably is a healthy tax write off.. and also there is no risk of breaching confidentiality involved...

It's no more a "write-off" than any business that provides health insurance to its employees. Which of course makes it the same as other "write offs" such as the rent for an office, buying pens to write with, and even stamps to mail the government your quarterly 941, and Schedule B if necessary.

This issue has become a complete and utter dumb down imo. Kudos to all involved.

In the fall. Mac lost the weight too, although I liked the gag of fat Mac, rewatching old episodes makes me want the skinny version back.

IMHO still the funniest show on TV

OT: Mass, HD -- he packed on mass.

thanks to the plethora of channels that now exist, most of which can be more "liberal" in what they show, there's a lot of funny sh*t on now. The League is up there, imo. Children's Hospital is good, though a bit odd (and only 15 min). Key & peele is a new show that's pretty good, could get batter. Tosh. Louie, when it comes back.

 This 100% reminds me of that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer was complaining about the rich people using "their write offs" and Jerry asked him "you don't even know what a write off is, do you?" And Kramer says "no, but they do and they are the ones doing the writing off."

(since this is my thread...its 100% fine if its derailed by a discussion about comedy)

Totally spaced on Children's Hospital.... David Wain is a genius (see Wanderlust if you wanna laugh) That crew goes back to MTV's "The State", groundbreaking for its time.

Key and Peele come from the same comedic tree as some of my firends, its about time they started getting large....the show is great.

Obviously Tosh is incredible as well. I've seen his standup a few times, at certain points I was the only one laughing, which is great.

Wish Chapelle never left, but I understand why. Seinfeld had a great view on comedy and fame in a Showtime special I saw him on, that nails it. I've seen Dave do standup on more than a few occasions, one time for over 6 straight hours!

Obviously SNL still hits in my opinion, but thats not for everyone. It tends to be 'generationally favorite'.

a bit off the path of the mainstream...

Tru TV has a show called "Impractical Jokers" which makes me smile. They aren't known comedians, but the show is worth checking out. 4 guys pretty much mess with each other in 'man-on-the-street' type of stuff, then all mess with the big loser at the end.

Fan of most of the other shows you two are speaking of, but how is that one? Saw a commercial for it a couple of weeks ago and it looked hilarious. Enough good content to be funny throughout, or did they blow their wad on the commercials?

    Impractical Jokers?

I laugh out loud a number of times during each show, and catch Mrs Diver doing the same. The guys on it are pretty likeable, and put themselves in some terrible situations.

Impractical Jokers - MMA School Prank - YouTube

Impractical Jokers have to prank a karate/kickboxing school. They go in in groups of two and have to say and do exactly what the other two guys tell them to.
