I've run a salary cap league for the last 10 years. We have between 25 to 30 guys participating. The site is down at the moment (fanaticsports.com) but it'll reactivate in July.
It's a pay league ($100/season; $50/half season). We split the season (8wks/9wks) to provide more chances to win. 95% of the fees are given out as cash prizes. Have the high score in a week and get $25, win a half season, collect $400-$500. We pay out the top 8 spots each half. It's all done online (we have a 'commish' league). Change your roster completely (all traes are free).
I'm usaully involved with a few draft leagues too, but find the cap league to be more interesting, but thats me. I know most prefer draft leagues.
We have fun with it. Always looking for more participants.
i always run a free one (live draft; a lot more fun) on yahoo... i dont start it until mid-late august though... when you start this early, too many people drop out of free leagues, then they suck... ill post my league's info on here in august again.
