Who do you think would have been the #31 pick the NFL stole from NE?

Its an irrelevant issue but something to think about after looking at the 2nd round guys the other teams selected before NE had thier pick at #62 -I do not think NE would have traded this pick #31.

The guys I think NE would have selected at #31 would probably have been 1 of these 3 guys.....

Quentin Groves
Curtis Lofton
John Carlson

I think BB would have looked long at Brandon Flowers, maybe phillip merling.

I think they would've tried to trade up for Cason, but it's moot now...

The names mentioned are viable. Thankfully there wasn't a standout name that I'm crying about. Anyway, once the Walsh talk ends, we're finally done - our debt to society  has now been paid.

BB interest in Flowers was a total smokescreen. Flowers simply does not have the characteristics to play in our scheme at cb....and he is a bit small for safety.

he is a cover two corner only IMO.

i dont know, i dont care

hell, i doubt the pats know what they want, they seem very unthusiastic about this draft from what i can tell, and are now getting out of it as fast as possible, its crazy

After watching them take a QB in the 3rd round i agree 100%. :bricks:

i tihnk they would have traded it to cleveland for their #1 next year.

No one on this board knows what would have happened. Until the press leaked Mayo's name, we were all focused on McKelvin, Rivers and all kinds of prospects that just made no sense.

I would guess Flowers, but with each draft I'm more and more convinced that fans and the mock community have no clue what the Pats think about talent.
