I am utterly amazed at the lack of Mosi in this thread
th
th
th
I believe Mosi is in everyone's top ten

If I was in a game I had to win and had my pick of all time Pats QB's, I'd choose in this order:

1. Brady
2. Grogan
3. Plunkett
4. Parilli
5. Flutie
6. Dowling
7. Kapp

OK, now I'm having to pick between Drew and Tony, I dunno...

Well, Eason was 3-1 on the road in the playoffs...

...think I might go with Jimmy G.

for qb imho:
1-Brady
2-Bledsoe
3-Grogan
4-Eason
5-Parilli

1: Steve Grogan
2: Troy Brown
3: Sam Bam Cunningham
4: Willie McGinest
5: Mike Haynes

very very difficult...
probably...:

1 - Brady
2 - Hannah
3 - Tippett
4 - Bledsoe
5 - Grogan

many many honorable mentions....: Stanley Morgan, Gronk, Mc Ginest, Ted Johnson, Bruschi, Cappelletti, Nance, Nelson, Coates, Cunningham, Antwine, Law, Troy Brown, Kevin Faulk, Seymour, Russ Francis, Haynes, Vinatieri and surely i am forgetting many many more...

I wasn't really around for any of the pre-90s guys, so restricting it to players I actually watched, I'd probably say

1. Brady
2. Bruschi
3. Harrison
4. Brown
5. Coates

Honorable mention to McGinest, Gronk probably finds his way onto that list in the next couple years. Tippett and Hannah probably belong on there based on everything I've seen/heard, shame they were before my time.

for qb imho:
1-Brady
2-Bledsoe
3-Grogan
4-Eason
5-Parilli
If people are really interested in what player was the savior of this franchise, Jim Plunkett belongs at the top of the list. Jim really was the real deal, the second best QB in team history, he led Stanford to a Rose Bowl win and was the much-deserved winner of the Heisman before the Pats drafted him #1 in '71. He opened up Schaefer Stadium by beating the Raiders, and he went on to lead us to many wins against top teams. He was a superstar, but went through some horrible injuries until Oakland picked him up in '78, and two years later he took advantage of his chance. He overcame tough obstacles in his youth, and his life, and his career, are a testament to perseverance, determination and character, and to me the guy belongs in the Pats' HOF.

I'm sure we've done this before, but I think it would be fun to do it again.

1 )Tom Brady
2) Tom Brady
3)Dom Trady
4) Tom Brady
5) Brady Tomeson

All joking asde,

1) Tom Brady
2) Tedy Bruschi
3) Rob Gronkowski
4) Steve Grogan
5) Steve Nelson

Willie Mac, Russ Francis, Rodney Harrison just miss the cut on my top 5, but definitely in my top 10.
1. Brady
2. Gronkowski
3. Grogan
4. Brown
5. Edleman

So tough ... No active players allowed

Steve Nelson - great tackler, leader
John Hannah - Greatest OL of all time
Andre Tippett - The complete linebacker
Ben Coates - amazing skills blocking or catching
Troy Brown - as it has been said many times - he defines the modern Patriot

probably think flying Elvis good logo too

But still old enough to remember the old, cursive logo font

The new font is just way too...serious and formal-looking

Both are flat out gorgeous. Most of my Pats gear is the cursive logo though. I've begun purchasing a lot of memorabilia with the new logo (like my not-so-new wallet! see attached photo)

I love the font. It is as you say very serious looking.

I'm one of those fans that wants the team to look intimidating (we absolutely NEED a Black jersey imo), and the new font does just that. Not to mention it incorporates the Flying Elvis logo in its proper state, as opposed to the curly tail of the cursive FE.

I'll just offer a list of my favorites, though I know that's not actually what this calls for necessarily. I just think trying to compile a list of the greatest would be a bit more difficult for me . . .

1) Tom Brady
2) Ty Law
3) Tedy B
4) Mike Vrabel
5) Troy Brown

Having to leave some guys out of the top five is so damn hard. Rodney, Big Vince, Will Mac, Drew B, Ben Coates, Matt Light, Lawyer Milloy, Roman Phifer . . . it's just too many.

Got to love "neck role Grogan"... toughest SOB I ever saw. He was murdered behind some of those Patriots lines and never flinched... Not the greatest Patriot ever but certainly one of, if not, the toughest Patriots to ever play.

Favorite LB's? Buoniconti, Nelson, Hunt, Zabel, Vrabel, Tippett, Bruschi, At ease Hightower!, Johnson, McGinest, Mayo, Muhammad, Jugdish, Sydney, and Clayton:D
