Is this related to the increase in taxes some were seeking for childrens insurance, or is this different? In reading the article I saw how they want to give higher income families the coverage. Why? I pay for my insurance, so why should my tax money go pay for some other middle class earner's? If you're poor I could understand, but why if you middle class?

I with the White House on this one. If it were only for poor kids and was limited in scope then I'd be OK with it. But they're talking about some states for kids whose families make over $60K . . . and over $80K. Additionally, unless I read it too fast there's no comment on scope. If the kid needs heart surgery - ok. But if they need some elective thing . . . or a filling . . . shrug.
