This will bring a smile to the faces of some of those on the right, who were concerned about Obama fulfilling this campaign promise... never realized the magnitude of these lists, some of the blogs are looking for folks to pour over these lists to see if there are patterns that will lead to some conspiracy..

Some of the ones they have found so far are Soros, Gore, Oprah Winfrey,Denzel Washington, George Clooney... Bill Gates, Newt Gingrich.. etc.

Soros, Gore among W.H. visitors - Eamon Javers - POLITICO.com

Hopefully it will be retroactive, as it is a freedom of information thing and release the names of those who spent time with George... but that will be different as Judicial Watch and the rest will be silent and hope no one notices... interestingly enough Judicial Watch is not even reporting it, maybe it is that Peek A boo thing, aka object consistency. Does Judicial Watch only watch those things that fit their partisan agenda???

    Bump ... sorry Darryl ... I missed yours. :eat3:

    Another great move by Obama.

Taking ammunition away from your opponents forces them into discussion and action of real issues.

Disturbing to see Rev Wright and Bill Ayers on the list however.

I knew, another lemming who fell for the trap, not the same Jeremiah Wright and William Ayres... the terrorist is William Ayers... if you read the whole post would have realized the fallacy of your argument.

WHere are George's and Cheney's lists????

Guess that is as close as you can come to admitting you are wrong, Agent 13 the reality is that if Obama sent you a 20 pound golden egg that was tax free... you would still whine about the packaging or some such nonsense...

Do not know who the Jeremiah Wright or W. Ayers was, but sure you can find it on some partisan blog... there are 100K visitors a month to the White House so there are probably a few more false positives...

Even Matty D did not fall for this one..

If this was "another great move" by Obama then what was his first great move? His handling of Afghanistan, the economy, warrentless wiretapping, Guantanamo or race relations?

But it should be noted that Obama only released 20% of the full lists while making the same argument that the Bush administration did: All such releases should be completely voluntary and there is no obligation to release the complete lists.

So I guess I don't understand why so many have been fooled into thinking this was a readical departure from the previous administration.

You're putting extra meaning into what I said. I simply said it was another great move. I did not say he doesn't make bad moves or errant moves ... just that this was another great move of his good ones.;)

You have a lot of nerve asking me for a source when you refuse to provide any of your own when challenged. Nevertheless, I made the statement so it falls on me to support it. However, I gladly admit that I accidentally gave Obama waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more credit than he deserved. I meant to write "0.02%" and not "20%". I apologize for my error.

Of course, this is a case where the actual number supports my point much, much better than the figure I erroneously mentioned, so it only serves to strengthen my argument.

But anyway, here are 2 references for your enjoyment:

Obama names 110 White House visitors - White House- msnbc.com

"Only about 110 names —and 481 visits —out of the hundreds of thousands who have visited the Obama White House were made public."

George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey on Barack Obama's White House guest list - Telegraph

"No previous administration has released such a list, but the 110 names and 481 visits represented just a fraction of the hundreds of thousands of visitors who have gone through the White House's doors since January."
