its a toss up since the defense would suffer immensely without either one

that said, there are more NT's at wilforks level than DE's at seymour's level..........but then again, NT is more important.....but then again, the pats haven't won an SB with wilfork as their primary NT........but then again, that's not all on him........

his importance goes up since there are no traylors or ted washingtons out there.......

You need both.

Who is the best tackle on a oline - Left tackle
Who is the best gaurd of the 2 - left gaurd

seymour is matched with the best 2 OL in any oline .He takes on left gaurds or tackles .so i thikn its even unfair to compare him to ty warren as the does the not face the best gaurd and best tackle in any time.

Vince is a 2 down player and is a very important clog in the center but as shown by shaun rogers, jenkins last year a older bigger DT can transfer to NT but ends are harder as they are bigger DT who need to be atheletic to match up against tackles and strong enough to fight a gaurd in close quaters. Also when double teamed by the best 2 OL should make some impact.

End of the day they both will be signed as even though AD got a big contract his cap hit is only 3.5 last year and 5 this year.

Wilfork makes it much easier for Seymour to do his job. And, as others have mentioned, Wilfork is the staple of the New England 3-4.
