Perhaps Watson? Will he come back with better hands and healthy? Will he become less fumbley?

Good ole Chad Jackson? Will he catch up during the offseason and come back and kick some ass?

How about Maroney? It seems like when he knew jack he was brilliant, but after he got some coaching and got injured he did nothing. Will the magic return?

How about TE Thomas? He showed streaks of brilliance the few times he played... is he the next real deal?

Hobbs started turning it on in the playoffs. Will he emerge as a playmaker next year?

Can Colvin get any better? Can he turn up the sack dial?

How about the stud D line? Will Seymour dominate further?

Or how about even Brady? Will he come back sharper next year, more confident with his receivers?

    So many possibilities...

i think Watson will be more improved. Last year he really wasnt the main target..this year he was..had his ups and downs. Demands double coverage b/c speed, athletism..hands arent consistent enough but i think with little work in offseason he'll be great

a TE a main target? Yeah he will probably improve, but Gaffney will most likely be the main target next year. I see Maroney improving, Hobbs, and Jackson. I see the Pats making a really big trade for a Wide out this off season, maybe that person will be the main target.

Cjack! He should easily double his production and end up with 26 catches and two special teams tackles next year!

I trust that Hobbs will fix a few of his mental/fundamental problems and be as solid as AS in the secondary (he will also ride off the performance he had in this postseason)..but it wont be much of an improvement because hes pretty darn good if you ask me..

C-Jackson -- Wont be the most improved until his 3rd season in..but we will defentaly see alot more of what he has to offer and he will start to become a serious weapon just not that field on fire, big, great catches type of WR YET... (dont get me wrong, one full offseason, injury free--will do alot for this kid)

Thomas-- Will Contribute a bit more, and more consistently...he will take a huge step up..

but the 2 players I feel will come back and be improved by next season are...

1a) Ben Watson -- You know, I know, Brady knows, Bill Knows, and Watson knows what this kid is capable of. When he was called upon there wasnt much of a offense around him (or offense on the same page I should say). With a better offense, an offseason of working on small fundamental things, and nurse his big ol' body back to health.. he should be great. Alot of people write him off, but hes still young--and was asked to be the main target for awhile for the team with probabbly the most critical media/fan base in all of football..Kid probabbly had the weight of the world on his shoulders every sunday.. look for responsibilites to be even distributed this season, hopefully everyone is healthy and Watson breaks out..

2a) Maroney--and we thought his rookie year was great..it only gets better (drooling) tee hee.......wait till he gets that intiative to hit the hole and blast through without much dancing...

Believe it or not, Tom Brady. He will have another whole preseason

to work with Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, Chad Jackson, Ben Watson,

    and David Thomas.

Reason why is because, He was just getting over the whole knee injury things and beggining to fly around the field again.. I expect him to be in the box alot now, making some big tackles and being a big force for over the middle passes// running situations

I think some people are missing the point of the OP.. It's not who will have the most impact, but who will be most improved. With this is mind, i hope that its Chad Jackson because we contributed so little this year. Maroney hit the rookie wall or the injury was worse than reported but was clearly a big factor early on. While Brady could improve,he is at such a high level that any improvement would be incremental (though it may have great impact).

I think it will be Pierre Woods. He came on strong on Special Teams in the second half of the season and I think He will make the rotation next year. This guy knows how to tackle people and another year in the strength and conditioning program will help Him greatly.Corey Mays is also in this same position. They both play a "need position " for the Patriots ,thus They will get an opportunity to perform.
