Attempts - 191 - 1st.
Yards - 827 - 3rd.
TDs - 10 - 1st.
Y/A - 4.3 - 9th.
These are the most important IMO, those are rankings I never thought I'd see almost 1/3rd into the season. Very encouraging
Individual players too for rushing stats:
#5 Stevan Ridley 102 rushes for 490 yards 4.8 YPC 4 TD
#28 Brandon Bolden 37 rushes for 206 yards 5.6 YPC 2 TD
#44 Danny Woodhead 36 rushes for 119 yards 3.3 YPC 1 TD
On pace for:
Ridley = 326.4-1568-12.8
Bolden = 118.4-659.2-6.4
Woodhead = 115.2-380.8-3.2
It's definitely impressive that five different players are credited with a rushing touchdown.
Unless I'm forgetting someone that matches last year's list of.......
1.) Green Ellis
Only 10 TDs and we are first in the NFL?, haven't the 49ers scored a lot of TDs especially in the last two games??
Rushing TDs, not total.
O Line sucks.
Actually, I had a thought that, I wonder if they're going more run heavy in part because of the protection problems pre-season. I'm thinking not likely, but you never know.
never thought i would see the day again where the pats are top dogs in the run game
There is a Ground and Pound team in the AFC East. Unfortunately for the Jets, they are located about 300 miles northeast of them.
We're one-dimensional again!
