The quality starters and health of the secondary is a good thing. I'll be thrilled if we don't have to see Merriweather in there all year.

He's not stronger than Sanders either.

Until they had an injury, the Colts first round WR didn't break their starting lineup. That's the sign of a talented offense.

Even with a starting safety serving a suspension, the Patriots first round safety can't break the starting lineup, or even the nickel defense.

That's the sign of a very talented team, not a poor draft.

ball hawk doesnt mean u have great hands. means your always around the ball thrown..and hes always in position to deflect it at least and sometimes pick it off

anyways reason is. Sanders got the first shot because

1. Hes been in league longer
2. He started last year
3. He did tremendous in camp/offseason award winner

He got the first chance and didnt let up and hes played great so far.

i think its got more to do with Sanders than with Meriweather
