Let's see, there are Democrats mentioning impeachment, I know there were anti-war demonstrations here in LA just last week, and we're less than a week into Libya.

The right is sounding pretty desperate right now.

I wonder if Howie the Clown still closes his eyes and crosses his fingers when he turns the key to start his car, or does he have a remote car starter?

Good, now will the Democrat Media plaster it all over the front page DAILY, will the Democrat TV News Anchors scream and yell about it ALL DAY LONG as they all did with Bush, will Cindy Sheehan put up a tent in front of The Jug Ears vacation residence as she did with Bush.
    OH JESUS

I agree to a point. Normally a week into a "war" we wouldn't expect huge demonstrations....but maybe who the president is, is really a factor for some people.

The Hollywood libs are probably upset but the media isn't lining up at their door to get their take anymore.....maybe because who president is now?

Although this wasn't part of what your point was, it was in the article and is what is most telling to me:
.......maybe because who the president is now?

It's not as prevalent as the right is making it out to be but it is a factor....and not too, too small of one in my opinion.

Edit: Maybe i should of said because who the president isn't now

I'd see where the media was 4 days in on Iraq and compare that to where we are now w/Libya w/regard to protests.

As for the story re the Wasilla guy and his friends killing civilians, if this was some "liberal press" issue, wouldn't they be playing up the Wasilla / Palin angle?

Also, how much was covered on Fox and other righty news outlets? All we saw at the beginning was from Europe.

I think part of this is war "fatigue" -- people care less than they did now that it's been several years and we are fighting in 3 (4?) places. As a result there's less press for all of these stories.

Well, fatigue is a factor also, I agree but I really believe if McCain was the president now and all else was equal then you'd see this being treated differently. The Wasilla/Palin angle crossed my mind too and I haven't figured out why that's being ignored....unless even as tempting as it might be they're backing off because it still might drag down there guy.....but that sounds like a stretch to me. I don't watch Fox very much so I don't know how they're looking at it.
