I still think if the trainers thought that Wheatley broke his wrist that there would be no way they would have run off the field like they did. The worst thing you can do for a broken bone is not imobilize it and it is impossible to do while jogging.
 
He could be kept off IR simply because we dont have enough bodies to replace him

Not having enough bodies would BE the reason to IR him, to bring someone in.

No clue but it's been 48 hours now and while the Patriots are secretive about injuries they usually IR guys fairly quickly which gives me hope.
 
Belly said that the they looked at his injury and did "some stuff" about it. So if they looked at it and haven't put him in IR yet, then maybe they see him returning sometime this season.

I hope so, cause he looked like our best CB against the Colts (for the time that he played).
