i feel your pain as i don't want to lose familiar fan favorites...but, there is no way in hell the Pats need to spend 12 mill on Willie and whatever on Givens. They got crazy money and they are not worth any of it. Thats why the Browns and teams that overspend like the Redskins don't make the playoffs. It takes a realistic fiscal approach and sticking to it. Yes, FA has been painful, but if you step back and look at it, the Pats are doing the right thing.

I don't use the term ignorant often to other posters. You are the exception.

Bob Kraft has nothing to do with who we sign or who we don't sign. He has left that up to BB and Scott. He has said that many times. The Patriots have always spent up to the cap.

Try having just a crumb of a fact before you start a thread.
