I know this has been talked about alot, but lets get see the percentages. It can be argues in many ways. Cassel has the most experience and time with the system, so he should know it best and be the safest player to go with. We drafted O'Connell for a reason. He may be behind Cassel now, but he has a higher upside then Cassel. So get him in there early, against some easier teams and a bye week, and hopes he hits is stride at the right time. Like the Pats did in 2001 when they went on their winning streak at the end of the season. Both players are to young and inexperienced. Bring in another player who at least has some starts under his belt and get him used to the system and start him once they are comfortable, maybe after bye week.
