What would an NFL Hall of Shame look like?

Tony Eason, namely his "performance" in Super Bowl XX.

Add Ryan Leaf, Lawrence Phillips and Rae Carruth. Eason is fighting with Blackledge as the worst QB of the class of 83, the others are just terrible/horrible people.

Ray Rice would be the doorman....Adrian Petersen would be the janitor in charge of beating the throw rugs with a stick out back....Ray Lewis would the "silent partner" head of security, Rogelio Goondellez would be the tour escort speaker...and Trent Dilfer would be babbling incoherently outside the entrance holding up a "letter of access denial" as the little kids passing by exclaim "mommy, who is that weird, bald guy holding the "Hate Brady!" sign?"...

the picture of Brett Favres dong?

Random Pats-related thoughts not brought up yet (moldy oldie stuff ahead):

> The "big flush" at Shaefer Stadium;
> The Victor Kiam era;
> Irving Fryar and Hart Lee Dykes not so excellent adventure;
> The Parcells speakerphone press conference;
> The "*uck Chairbanks" playoff game vs. Houton;
> Ben Dreith;
> Electrocution due to carrying goal posts out to Route 1;
> Clive Rush's near electrocution at his introductory purée conference;
> "Monday Night at the Fights" Jets game in the '70's; and, last but not least,
> The guy in the trench coat breaking up a pass at Fenway

TouchCeption game aka Fail mary

Last night's "helmet-to-helmet" penalty would rate at least a dishonorable mention.

Well of course after only reading the title the obvious immediate answer was................ BUTT-FUMBLE.

Then after reading the thread, I have to ask: Why did it take 28 posts before I had to mention MOSI TATUPU?

My thoughts went in a more serious direction. After the outright murderers, my next idea was Jack Tatum.

Fair enough, but his departure was pretty criminal. Admittedly, it all happened before I was alive, but my father still rants to this day about it. I grew up with a healthy dose of "Fairbanks hate".

i remember it well, and there was a lot of hate. but in the end after he left for colorado he fell into obscurity. i don't think (at least back then) an owner in the nfl would hire him even if he wanted to come back after what he did to the pats.

He had a ton of talent ... Belichick would have loved to coach that bunch.

He had so much talent it was sick ... that team should have went all the way.
