What match up is most important?

Easy.

Brady versus Rivers.

QBs count for the most in every football game.

Matt Light vs ???

Matt's got the weight of the team on his shoulders...

Bet he's taking a nap right now ...

I'm estimating, but when I did a slapdash comparison post, it's amazing how much of the offense is Tomlinson and Gates. 80%?

They don't have one WR in the top 30 in the league, but LT and Gates are.

Seems so obvious, I wonder if Shotty has some surprises.

Of course, BB is not known for falling for the obvious strategy.

Do we eliminate 80% of the offense by containing these two? If we sell out to them, who's likely to hurt us.

I know McCardell of course, if he was a car, he'd have at least 50,000 more miles on him than Troy.

If they have a good receiver who hasn't put up many statistics I'd be curious. Too much trouble researching guys that don't even show up in league stats.

I'm going with the LBs and safeties vs. Gates. I think the Pats will slow down Tomlinson, but not stop him. I think Gates will be the key to us winning or losing. If we can keep him relatively quite, I think we win and maybe convincingly. If we don't, I think we lose.
