What former past or present Patriots player would you prefer over all others to meet in person for a small conversation and maybe get an autograph?

My choice would be the BEST New England Patriots player in History - No its not Tom Brady,Its John Hannah,Yes Brady is great and will continue to be great hopefully in the upcoming years, but I don't think I will ever see a better player in a Patriots uniform in my lifetime than Hannah,He was that good IMO and it would be an honor to shake the mans hand who took on 2 guys tons of times in his career and just simply would not let them get by,it seemed like he was a whole offensive line by himself at times.

    Any of them.

Hannah was amazing but Tom will always be the greatest to me.

If you are under 40 I can understand since Tom is in your heyday right now and can respect that since its a great pick but for others like me who are over 40 I think Hannah and maybe guys like Tippett or a Stanley Morgan or even the likes of a Haynes might be on top of who we prefer to meet in person.

Tough decision between Drew Bledsoe or Ben Coates.

Would have love to have met and spend some time with Darryl Stingley, now that he is gone would not mind having dinner with Gino Capelletti.. must have a fascinating long term view on this franchise and all the innuendo's that go along with it.

For me it would definitely be Stanley Morgan...I did attend an autograph season at the start of last season just so I could have a brief conversation with him. He was awesome by the way. I would like to have an extended conversation with him though.

I agree that it would have also been interesting to spend some time and learn from Darryl Stingley.

Grogan (again), Bruschi, Brown, Bledsoe, Willie, Rodney (of course!), Morgan, Martin (before he defected to NYJ) and of course Brady, Coates, and T. Johnson.

I was going to say Grogan (met him 20 years ago when I was in high school and he seemed like a great guy), but I have to second Gino, just to get the stories from the Boston Patriots and comparisons with the team now.

I'd say Gino, because he's known the franchise for a long time and keeps on top of the day by day for his radio gig, even if he isn't the greatest commentator. He could talk about the dark days and the great days, contrasting the impact of Kraft with our, shall we say, less beneficial owners. After that, Drew Bledsoe and Doug Flutie (seriously). I'm not considering any of the current players (even the HOF-bound) , because I'd be interested in perspective on the team over time.

    Gino's a great choice.

Between playing, coaching (briefly) and broadcasting, he's been a Pats insider for nearly 50 years. Let him choose one of his many favorite restaurants for an evening of food, drink, insights and laughs. "Duke" could regale a Pats fan all night long with great behind the scene stories from both recent and past teams.

I would kill to meet rodney harrison, just for a min or two

I would tell him what he has ment to me for the past 5 years, that he stood for everything I believe in when it comes to football, that he is my all time favorite player, and I respect everything that the man does. That I will never forget the passion and desire that he desplayed game in and game out and how much that ment to me and the thousand of other fans.

While I'm picking the player, I will be specific on the event....

If I want to train with any former or present NE player, it would be Harrison as the present and Mike Haynes back in the day. Harrison is a tough, "I don't give a ____" guy that earns his keep day in and day out. He is the embodiment of a leader on the field. Haynes was just an immense talent that had some great years after the Pats time. He is also a HOFer, so you can't go wrong with that.

If I want to just meet a Patriot player randomly on the street, it would have to be Bruschi over Harrison. For some reason "Captain, my captain" comes to mind when I see that guy on the field. I respect his passion, intelligence and leadership. Not to mention, as uncomfortable as it might be to be around a professional like Ted, I know his smile would make you feel right at home.

Shout out to Pat Tillman.... If I could tell one NFL player how much I respect and have been inspired by one man's actions, it would be Pat. Sorry, kinda got the whole Arizona (State or University) on the mind after writing about Bruschi.

    Presant...Rodney.

Past patriot....Andre Tippit. So I could at least ask him what Tony Franklin said to him in the rt.1 motel lounge, that made him so mad.I 'd like to ask alot more than just that but that would be one of the questions.
