It's an interesting issue for this forum since it's very nonpartisan.
Obviously I oppose it in its current form, although I do believe they need to come up with something better to handle the real issues that this was supposed to address.
I see SOPA to be very similar to gun control laws: The only people who are going to suffer are law abiding citizens, who will have their rights infringed, while the criminals are going to easily continue finding ways to get around the laws.
I'll pass thanks. This is one of those area's where people who normally support the dogooder, police state, save the children, I know what's better for you than you do crowd, will be up in arms over being regulated. Like some of us always say, sooner or later they'll come for something you actually care about.

There's a joke of a statement I have to say. At least answer honestly and say there shouldn't be anyone stopping anyone from doing anything on the internet besides moving child porn around.
Intellectual property laws are the reason we have movies, music, books, software... something has to be done about all the stealing. SOPA/PIPA aren't the answer, but something must be.
