I figure it would be a good idea to lay down some ground rules. Some people's lives seem to be shattered by the excessive posts that they don't approve of. Feel free to chime in with your suggestions. I'll start with the obvious.

    1. The Patriots are great.

Sorry, that would be a "OT" discussion. Hence that would need to go directly to the general discussion forum.

    #75 Jersey

Let's talk about how I lost out on a job to a gay, jewish, black, hispanic, asian, female, with a missing leg, who was subject to female genitail mutilation just becasuse of some stupid quota system!!

I think that pretty much touches on all the taboos. So let's go.......

BTW Husker, I'm with Patjew (god bless you),I have always been distrubed by your sig, it's funny, but it is kind of disturbing, much like "the King" in those Burger King commericals.

    2. Bill Belichick deserves to be enshrined in the HOF immediately. Tom Brady too.
    3. Will Bethel Johnson and Dan Klecko make the roster this year?
    4. Predict the Pats draft choices
    5. Predict the Pats record next year

Ah, so it's not just my girlfriend who gets the heebeejeebees when she sees that Burger King King? Me, I just always think what an addition he'd be to our backfield... although I don't like his throwback uniform.

What ever happened to the Burger King? Those were some of the best commercials I've seen in awhile. The very first one was the absolute best when the dude wakes up and the King was just standing outside his window looking at him. :D

OK, so lets get serious for a minute. Other than my first suggestion, I have yet to see anything mentioned that is acceptable here. How are people going to know what to post?

    Here's one for you:

How many football players have more than one older brother?

    http://cbs2.com/topstories/topstories_story_072091004.html

"While biologists look at hormones for answers about human sexuality, other scientists are looking for patterns in statistics. And hard as this is to believe, they have found something they call "the older brother effect."

"The more older brothers a man has, the greater that man's chance of being gay," says Bailey.

Asked if that's true, Bailey says, "That is absolutely true."

If this comes as a shock to you, you’re not alone. But it turns out, it’s one of the most solid findings in this field, demonstrated in study after study.

And the numbers are significant: for every older brother a man has, his chances of being gay increase by one third. Older sisters make no difference, and there's no corresponding effect for lesbians. A first-born son has about a 2 percent chance of being gay, and the numbers rise from there. The theory is it happens in the womb.

"Somehow, the mother's body is remembering how many boys she's carried before," says Breedlove. "The favorite hypothesis is that the mother may be making antibodies when she sees a boy the first time, and then affect subsequent boys when she carries them in utero."

"You mean, like she's carrying a foreign substance?" Stahl asked.

"And if you think about it, a woman who's carrying a son for the first time, she is carrying a foreign substance," Breedlove replied. "There are some proteins encoded on his Y chromosome that her body has never seen before and that her immune system would be expected to regard as 'invaders,'" he added."

You just had to go there! LOL! Honestly, if Flutie Flake is our back-up QB this season....well, that woman you heard complainging about it on one of Karen's (Mrs. B) podcasts - will be at it again!

    &^%$#@! Flutie

Oh, and I heard somewhere that Bill Belichick is not only contemplating retirement, but has been seen 'round town escorting Tara Reid.....who is reported to have a "baby bump." Discuss.
