It's not a 'weak draft', it's a 'flat' draft. Picks in the later rounds have more relative value than normal, which is why, once again, our hero Bill Belichick has made good. Minnesota's 'regime' has one last chance to make good themselves, and were willing to sell out for it (to our benefit).

The sweet spot of this draft is Round 2 through 4. Now lets hit big and get some difference makers on Day 2! They say there are very few starters in this draft, mostly a depth draft.

It all depends what we do with the picks we received. If we waste them like we did with the likes of T. Wilson, RI Dowling, and J. Bequette we will be wishing we had used that 1st on Patterson or Elam. If we turn a few of those picks into quality players then it is a great trade.
