...or today as it may be. I have developed a liking for Samuel Adams Imperial Stout. It's one of the best bottled stouts I have ever had and at 9.2% it's worth the price.

You and Kitty Dukakis would get along. You could share a bottle of shoe polish while sitting next to a nice cozey fire. :bricks:

I forgot all about Kitty, when Squinty Weasel Dukakis was running for Pres the Gun Control thing came up, they asked Mike what he'd do if someone broke into his house and was in the process of Raping Kitty, Weasel Mike said "he'd jump out of the kitchen window and look for a cop" lol, Imagine what Kitty would look like by the time he found one.

I LOVE MOXIE FOR A HANGOVER WHEN YOU WAKE UP WITH THE THIRSTY HORRORS, IT HAS TO BE GULPED AND CHUG ALUGGED UNTIL THE TEARS RUN DOWN YOU CHIN.

I think it was in '88 when MD was running for POTUS. They tried to keep Kitty in check, but she got her hands on a bottle of shoe polish and it made the news.

I use to love MOXIE I haven't seen it in years, i don't know if they still make it.

Hey mike it could have been alcohol, and shoe polish, and sterno all at different times. But i distinctly remember shoe polish because while i'd heard of people drinking rubbing alcohol and sterno shoe polish was new to me. So thats why i remember it. All this aside that women must have gone threw hell if she resorted to drinking any of the stuff. The only thing left was Miller Lite.

I'm trying this new stuff tonight. It's from Allagash Brewing in Portland, ME and is their TRIPEL Reserve Belgian style ale. (9.0%) Reading the label made me feel it might be a bit fruity, but it isn't the case. It is a smooth slightly sweet ale with no after taste. There's a subtle honey undertone. It came in a 750 ml corked bottle with a wine type metal cage around the cork. There was a resounding POP! when opened.

It was in a Hannaford market, but not in the beer aisle. There is a shelf in the wine aisle with a pant load of these large bottles of beers and ales. I've been in that store a hundred times and never noticed it. This is great and I'm going back tomorrow!

Moxie is still around. It's easiest to find in Maine, but you can find it around New England (Shaw's is the most reliable carrier). There's a little town in Maine called Lisbon Falls that has an entire Moxie store (as of 2006 anyway), and apparently they have an annual Moxie Day Parade.

I used to stock up on it when I lived in Virginia. I made many converts. :rocker:
