I am so glad there are people in the media that just seem dedicated to bringing all these silver spooners wasteful practices to light. It just seems like these big corporations higher ups just refuse to acknowledge that they have major financial issues and continue on with their heads stuck in the sand pretending all is fine.

Have any of these bailed out banks even used 10 dollars of the billions handed to them for it's original purpose? Seems to me all it's gone to is bonus check's, corporate perks and vacations!

I think that Wells Fargo was the only big bank that didn't want to take any money but it was forced on them by the government. The government needed to look at their books so it forced them to take some cash. I don't know if they took any more after that.

Not sure on that, I thought it was Bank of America. I would be very surprised if Wells Fargo wasn't hurting big time due to its focus on mortgages. What gets me is, even AFTER all the fuss concerning the big three flying on corporate jets, Citibank buying a new jet, Wall St. bonuses, they still have the ignorance to think they are ok to take their junkets.
I still will be stunned if they go through with their vacation.

Just saw in the news, because of public outrage, they cancelled the trip.

because of public outrage, not because it is wrong.. wtf is wrong with these people.. they have gotten away with so much for so long, they have lost their perspective on what is right and what is wrong.

I've only been there once and the city made me sick. It was just too much waste and greed going on.

But I'll admit there were plenty of beautiful women to look at! That part I REALLY like!

I leave early on Wednesday morning and I fly back Friday night...so I get one full day there...big deal.

I'm actually going to get my annual review along with the other 5 people in my group. We all work from home offices, so we have to meet somewhere and Vegas is actually one of the cheapest places to go right now.

We're staying at Harrah's Paris/Las Vegas. But I will get 2 rounds of golf in while I'm there! :D

I'm heading to Ft Myers this afternoon for the weekend....

Figured I'd add some salt to that wound.

Note: I'm actually going to visit my parents, but my dad still plays an ok game at 79 yeas old.

I moved back and lived in Fl for about five years, a few years ago. Almost every single week I'd play golf with my dad, who was also late 70's. Played in some scrambles and even played the father/son tournament qualifier for Championgate (we sucked and didn't make the cut). There is nothing better. Enjoy your outing with your dad.

I've stayed at the Paris and it is great! They have a nice coffee shop that serves great crossiants.

I also put $40 bucks down on the Pats to win SBXXXVIII (it paid @700)

Hit the "Munsters" slot machines if they still have them, I got three "Hermans" and won a cool $1,800, and the video screen lite up with Herman jumping up and down screaming, "I'm rich, I'm rich, "I'm rich"

Vegas is the greatest city in the world!
