Why wouldn't every team have their players receive flu shots? Seriously, I don't understand this. No team has any excuse for any player who gets the flu.

In this day & age, there is no reason for any NFL player to miss a single game or practice due to the flu.

I'm not saying Rodney has it, but wouldn't that be stupid if he did?

Flu shots have side effects too, you can't force someone to have one. Plus, this could be a tummy bug, a shot isn't going to help that.

Who says they don't ? Flu shots are only effective for a quarter or so of flu strains, it helps your odds and nothing more. It's not a flu cure all.

Flu shots do not prevent the flu.

They only prevent 20% of flu strains.

This is why many doctors and hospital staff I know don't bother with flu shots at all.

An unfortunate part of life.

If you're a healthy person, it takes a lot of contact with someone to pick it up. Football players of course...

OMG YES! That is the greatest picture around.

I was like 8-10 when these commercials started coming out and i would love them. I even remember going to the grocery stores and seeing the mini lite vs lite displays on a mini football field.

Anybody gonna throw out a Diet Pepsi Machine picture too practicing?
