He won't be throwing 60 yard bombs, but he doesn't have a "noodle for an arm." There's a difference between losing a little velocity and not being able to throw a football. Maybe you just haven't seen him play yet...but he can still throw the ball and get it to where he wants it pretty damn well.
I've always liked Peyton Manning and considered him the best QB in football (until 2004). That being said, I can't think of another starting QB in football today who has a weaker arm than he currently does. I was amazed watching him throw the ball. His accuracy is still there and (typically) his judgment as well. At this point, he's Chad Pennington (which is not a knock; Pennington threw the best short balls in the NFL for years).
