Your right a game that has 162 maybee even 180 games a yr to a team that may play on 19 sundays a yr, and are better athlete's , have a better quality product.. Yeah that sport with the stick and ball is better than any other product that is out there..
The athletic talent and degree of mental acuity that a pitcher needs is easily on par with that of an NFL quarterback. And your average skilled hitter needs intelligence, focus, and athletic form that far surpasses most every position on a football field.
So you think that just because Tiger Woods probably can't bench much more than 160 there's not a huge amount of physical presence and control that's required to manage a correct golf swing?
does anybody esle get annoyed when dale & holley try to start some football talk and the patriots are the topic of discussion and it suddenly changes to redsox talk?the pats discussion could be good for about 10 minutes then some fool calls in and messes it all up by saying "hi guys, I just wanted to talk about the red sox,J.D. Drew in particular ". that pisses me off because I tune in for patriots talk and when the subject changes i know its never coming back .
I'm proud of boston as a sports city but we could do a little better with coverage of other teams than the sox.
Some of guy's are classic. Boston is a HUGE baseball town. Baseball was king until the pats started winning sb's. They are about even now I guess. To question baseball coverage in Boston when the sox are playing in the world series at Fenway is so dumb it's comical.

So it IS true. Stupid people DO laugh a lot...

Manny Ramirez wishes to rebut your hypothesis.
If you really think that, you've never seen Ramirez bat.
I've seen that lazy ****** bat plenty of times.
Yeah, it's horrible. I grew up in SW Connecticut so it was inevitable. I was physically forced to attend games in the Bronx by local community groups.
The Patriots were my AFC favorite and the Giants were my NFC team. I stopped watching the Giants after a couple of their pathetic playoff collapses, but they're getting interesting again.
I don't really care much for baseball anymore. I don't have the time to spare for a game that's so repetitious and moves like molasses. I've tried watching a couple of Sox playoff games but they're just excruciatingly slow.
Then again, I tend to watch Pats games on tape and fast forward between plays and through timeouts and commercials.
weei talks football all the time .they do a great job of talking about both.Since the World Series will be over by Sun.. I hope its a sweep, since although not a big baseball fan, I could tell that the Rockies will not win a game if it goes back to Fenway... Then by wed or thurs EEI could talk about what really matters and what the biggest sporting event will be until late jan early feb... PATS VS COLTS....:rocker:
