Welker is on pace for 160 catches, 2464 yards, 20 TDs and 15.4 YPC. The YPC is higher than Andre Johnson and guys like that. Obviously I'm not saying he'll end up there but three-quarters of that would be 120 for 1848 and 15TDs. Jerry Rice's record season was exactly 1848 yards and he had 122 catches 15TDs and a 15.1 YPC. So for a quarter of the season it's literally on par with the best season ever.

His production will slow of course as DC's gameplan to take him away.

they better not wear this guy out. he will break down if they keep him on this pace.

they need to use the run game to slow the pace of the game and possessions.

He took a monster hit on the sideline today, but usually he's pretty good about getting down and getting out of bounds.

Don't worry about Welker wearing down, I heard Edelman is a clone;)

He is a legend already. Since the Pats got him, he's been unstoppable. Greatest trade of a pick in Pats history. Speaking of Jerry Rice, SF picked him with our pick, we traded down for Calvin Chung.

That implies they're not trying to do that already. . . .

He has had an amazing start but as soon as Hernandez comes back Wes wont be targeted as often.

Good. Don't want him to catch 10 balls a game every game. It will show by the end of the year if this continues.
