Saw this on Comcast and quite an interesting fact

In the Belichick era,the Pats have been scheduled on the road in week one just 3 times.....those 3 times were years 2001,2003 and 2007

While NE lost 2 of those 3 road games,it just happens to be that all those years ended up with the Pats as AFC Champions with 2 SB Titles of the 3

Hmmmm.....very interesting

dejaVu perhaps?:singing:

...bodes well for the Season. Let's just hope we have one.

Pats open as 3.5 point faves over Miami

Does that mean in the grand scheme of things we should be rooting for the Pats to lose this year's week 1 game?

It is all part of the Master Plan..

If my memory serves me correctly....those 3 games were significant.

2001 - Corey Dillon runs wild against Bledsoe/Pats. 2 days later Sept 11

2003 - Bledsoe and Milloy crush Pats in Buffalo

2007 - Brady and Moss rip the Jets. Mangini can't take it and snitches on Pats

2011 - Wes Welker scores five touchdowns and Miami goes into 1-15 tailspin.

I think out of all 4 teams in the division Miami has most question marks.

A very vanilla QB?

Two running backs who will be free agents whenever that is..

Nobody to compliment Brandon Marshall on other side of the ball. Davonne Bess is a slot guy who is very streaky.

D-Line is brutal

Special Teams ... well see last years massacre at the hands of the Pats

Yeah,Its ironic that the only game we won on the road in week one was the only Super Bowl we lost.

Lose week 1 road game under Belichick and we are celebrating under the confetti in February according to history ;)
