Nice, another 49ers loss and Smith will lose 2 fumbles.

    Re: Early Game Threads

So who do we want to win?

    Atlanta over S.F. - Obvious

Tennessee over Carolina - keep pressure on Indy

Cincinnati over Buffalo - Buffalo already has 3 wins, Cinci needs to go ahead of S.F.

Arizona over T.B. - Another NFC West teams stays ahead of S.F.

Rats over Redskins - Rats are drafting too high.

Jacksonville over N.O. - Keep the heat on Indy

S.D. over Minn? - Hmmm, Minnesota needs the win to get ahead of S.F. but S.D. needs to be highly motivated and hitting on all cylinders against indy.

    Re: Early Game Threads

Falcons made worse offense in the NFL look like our offense. Not a good sign. Sometimes you score too easy. SF did fumble and recover their own fumble. Got a fortunate bounce.

    Re: Early Game Threads

Vikings drive on the Chargers' D and Peterson runs it in from 1 yard out.... 7-7. Thanks to a Andrae Allison 60 yard kickoff return, the Vikes had good field position on this last drive.

Jets had to settle for a field goal, but I'll tell you something..

Clemens looks good. It's early to tell, but he seems alot more solid than Pennington. I think they made a good call (albeit a late one) on him.

According to Dierdorff, only the Chargers, Steelers, and Patriots play the 3-4. Forget about the Cowboys, Jets, Ravens and Browns.

Oh my Gawd what a messed up play by S.D.. I guess Chambers is new to the offense and all that but he was wide open on a bomb that either he turned wrong on or Rivers threw to the wrong side.

Onside recovery by the Skins. Ball didn't go 10 yards and the Jets guy completely messed up the recovery.. bone-head move.

ETA: The ball wast right at the 10 yard mark and guess who messed up the recovery? That's right, Elam.. the guy that completely took out Revis who could've had an INT while covering Lee Evans last week.
