Chris - good reading - not to get too ticky tack but for accuracy's sake you should probably chance "Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey" to "former Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey".

Thanks for the good read, Chris. It's refreshing to read a journalist who understands that not every draft pick is has to become a Hall of Fame starter his rookie season to be considered a valuable pick. The thing I enjoy about watching a Belichick draft is how he drafts to fill 53 (or more) spots on the roster.

He's always thinking about contribution from a player in some way, no matter how small. For example, Belichick saying that the long snapper draft pick can "cover (punts)" pretty well could be meaningful in a decision to keep him over an equal snapper who might not be as likely to make that one tackle that saves a TD one time during a season.
