Brees has as many rings as manning and Rodgers.
Brees manning and Rodgers combined have as many rings as Brady.
3 of the 4 belong in the sake conversation. The one that doesn't is Brady.

Right. I never quite understood why so many people/media assume that Brees is a HoF lock.

His statistical contributions to history are being eaten up by Manning. He only has one ring. His consistency is the only thing that will be left, and even that is a bit questionable if you look at the last two years.

Am I missing some big obvious thing here?

Looking at the log jam that is HoF voting I am not so confident that he will get in.

Remember when everyone was saying the Saints were a Sb contender. I did personally thunk that they were overrated, imagine if the Panthers hadn't suspended Hardy or if they had assembled something that at least resembled an o-line.
