    they were replaying it today on ESPN and Gil and Geno on the gaffeny TD say
    "Brady on 1st down and throws it away out of bounds...oh wait a minute ..its a touchdown"

    funny in an unintentional way.

    I have to admit, I thought Brady was throwing it away too. Gafney made a hell of a catch.

    teh posts were in the way...funny..but..just shows a bit about how poor of a location some teams place the opposing radio teams..

    No, it shows that Gil is old and can't see the field very well any more.... the pole was just a lame excuse. Gino sits right next to him and had no problem calling 'touchdown'.

    Watch the game sometime with the sound turned down and Gil turned up... it's scary how off the guy is. From players, to plays, to yardage...

    The guy still has great pipes and one of the great TD callers of all time, but he's losing it... fast.

    There will never be another Gil he was the best.The Brady of
    broadcasters.Before all these sellouts when there was no tv
    he was your eyes to the game.

    Amen. I could never say anything bad about Gil or Gino no matter how bad they regress.

    IIRC, he called the games of my high school (New Bedford) football games back in the sixties. I think he is great.
