.

Fairly unbelievable: even the ultra liberal Washington Past is now calling for Charles Rangel -- the lying, stealing, jive merchant -- to step aside for the good of America. Maybe it's just a desperate move by the Past to hold onto the readership that pays their bills, or maybe they have genuinely grown a brain (and heart). But this does not go nearly far enough: instead of just stepping down from the chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee -- a very powerful post in Congress -- Rangel needs to be discharged from the Congress all together for his repeated violations of tax payment and other sundry felonies.

Rep. Rangel must step aside as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

FOR POLITICIANS with major bad news to release or to make public, there's no time like the dead of August to do it. The thinking goes that the public won't remember a thing come September. We hope Rep. Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) will have no such luck. His belated revelation of previously unreported income, property and bank accounts demands that he step aside as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Mr. Rangel's amended financial disclosure form, which exposes omissions from his 2002 through 2006 records, is a treasure trove of outrage. He neglected to report a checking account with the Congressional Federal Credit Union and one with Merrill Lynch, each valued between $250,000 and $500,000; the tens of thousands of dollars he's earning from dividends from a number of mutual funds and stocks; and the money made from the sale of a Harlem townhouse. As a result, Mr. Rangel's reported net worth doubled, from between $516,015 and $1,316,000 to between $1,028,024 and $2,495,000.

Rep. Charles Rangel Must Step Aside as Chairman of Ways and Means

Rangel MUST go as he now has ZERO credibility. Absolutely NONE.

He's always been a Racist but whoever dares to publicly say it will then, they themselves be accused of Racism for daring to say it.

Rangel is a stinking piece of sh!t, he is the perfect model of the smoke filled back room cigar chomping scumbag politician.

Yeah, I guess this one is so obvious that not even the die-hardest lefties here can come to this buffoon's defense.

He is what he is: a man who does not deserve public trust, an insult to America, an embarrassment to the United States Congress.

Tammany Hall, Chicago-land politics, the gangsters of the past .... none of them has anything on this guy. Rangel has got to go.

Coke & Pepsi people. I remember Rangel on Fox one time, defending the position that "rich" people should pay more taxes. HA!

He needs a news flash: the rich already DO pay more taxes. It's called the graduated income tax. 'course you got too many like the Kennedys who have all kinds of fancy tax "shelters", secret trust funds that can be structured in ways to avoid most taxes -- can't have the "elite" living like normal folk, now can we??? Like the medical plan they have cooked up: it's for all the "little people", NOT the phonies who make into law.

    :steamed:............... :nono:..........................:nooo:
