Posting this thread to give our fans the chance to vote on each of the Patriots selection during this Mock Draft. If you would like to follow along the name of the thread is "2012 Mock Draft Game Player Selections!" Starting now we will have until 10 am tomorrow to submit your votes and I or Co-Commissioner bakes781 will tally the votes and post the player with the most votes as the Patriots selection. This thread is for the 31st selection only and I will post seperate threads for the Patriots other selections. So lets see who we like as the second first round pick. This is how the picks have been made so far for the other teams. So just enter the players name you think the Patriots should draft in this thread and we will see who the majority likes. No Trades in this Mock Draft. I will post an updated list in this thread once the 49ers selection is made. We all know there's a good chance the Patriots will trade BUT for this exercise we just need you to vote Thanks.

I think this is a foregone conclusion in Devon Still because San Fran doesn't need a DE.

Still then Hill and for the sake of poetry, Lavonte David as a WILL.

Devon Still.

I like Reyes but wouldn't have an issue with taking Still.

Devon Still, Vinny Curry or Andre Branch, have to address the DLine.

Zach Brown UNC

Kendall Reyes.

if Still looked good at 27, he looks damn good at 31... no question

I still don't think Devon Still is a 3-4 lineman.

He makes plays in the backfield with his quickness. If he doesn't beat his guy off the snap, he doesn't end up doing much on the play.

He's not tremendously effective against double teams. He ends up getting knocked on his ass WAY too much against the run. He doesn't play with a great deal of passion or consistent effort.

In my view, Still is a 4-3 DT, not a 3-4 DE.

Reyes brings far more schematic versatility, without giving up athleticism.

Just my opinion.

Devon Still because i know his name... oh yeah and he is a good solid 3-4 DE

I've got to go with Still as well

I like Reyes

I think he's quicker and stronger and generally more athletic than still, and was injured less frequently in college. the only advantage still has is that he played in a bigger program

We passed on Jared Odrick a couple of years ago and while he was out his first year with an Injury he is looking like a solid DE/DT for the Fins going forward.

Still might not bw a sexy pick but he is BPA here as most sites have him ranked in the teens/early 20's on their BB's.

I vote Devon Still reluctantly. I'm just nervous about guys from Penn State.

I'll go post the selection in a few. Thanks for participating everyone. Make sure to vote on the two 2nd round selections as well in a few days from now.
