What can I say? The accusation isn't coming from MSM or even from left-wing media - it's straight out of the Washington Times - one of the most conservative-leaning publications out there.

According to Ron Paul people and Newt Gingrich people the weekend's Catholic and Evangelical activist's meeting in Texas to choose a candidate to "get behind" resulted in "manipulation," lies and ballot-box stuffing - with the end result being skewed in favor of Rick Santorum.

one poster here is dead certain that Romney is a lock... odd that the far Christian right wing would be going to such unethical lengths to get a leg up for ANYONE BUT the shape-shifter...

The closed-door gathering of about 150 activists at the Benham, Texas, ranch of Nancy and Paul Pressler was being closely watched as perhaps a last chance for social and religious conservatives in the party to change the direction of the nomination fight by uniting around a single alternative to Mr. Romney, whom many distrust.

But he's a lock, and it's dumb to even ask...

Well then by all means, since I'm so wrong, please tell us whom you feel will win the nomination? Or feel free to make yourself look even more foolish than you did in the following exchange:

"A lot can happen in two months, especially for a mormon." - Titus Pullo, post 9, "Tea Party" thread (before Harry Boy entered the thread)

"The first person to bring up (Romney's religion) in this thread was Titus." - Wolfpack, post 17

"Actually, genius, that was Harry first. You can read, correct?" - Titus Pullo, post 22

Hey Wolfie, go peddle that rubbish over in the thread it belongs in, instead of hijacking this one.

Better yet, try to just cope... can't imagine a thread that the above wouldn't be hijacking.

But in the absence of the second sentence, just go by the first one, and get out of this thread, or contribute.

So start another thread and gripe about it.....I'll join ya.

But not here, this has no more to do with the original thread than Wolf's remark did.

What's up with that? Are you both afraid to respond to the in-house charges of fraud and manipulation?

I've said the same thing to other posters when they've made OT comments and they've replied with childish comments like, "Who made you my boss?"

Churches can do whatever they please in an unofficial in-house vote. It's unethical, but nothing more than that.

    Who cares really?
