I guess it was Holley who reported it so it's probably true. Screw him, he had no interest in coming back.

On another message board, Dan Pires posted that Holley said it.

No links yet but Dan Pires saying that Holley said it is pretty reliable from my experience.

Ugh. This off-season has been about as fun as a root canal. And the roster carnage continues...

    STOP THE PRESS...

My buddy said 'Agreement in principle...' is what Holley said.

    No ink yet.

Agreements in principle are very, very, very likely to be completed. Very.

Waste of cap space for the Colts IMO. They should have checked out AV's stats in domes. IIRC, it's well below his average.

Fact is, Colts couldn't win it all with the most accurate kicker in NFL history on their team. Can't imagine much difference with AV.

OK, it was a long shot.

    Later.

He is just a kicker. A good one, but just a kicker.

Actually, Adam's stats in domes are pretty good. Two SB winning kicks (Reliant had its roof closed). And I remember during the 2003 season when we were playing Houston AV lined up for a FG and they had a stat that he had never missed in a dome...he promptly missed the kick. Im not sure what his stats in domes were in 2004 and 2005.

You know, after the soap opera that he tried to put on, all I can really do is laugh. I quit caring about 2 weeks ago.
