While third parties would probably help Obama's re-election, there's a real chance that with all the disillusionment, we could see some third parties get enough of a foothold to become part of the political landscape. But, who, if anyone, is prepared to vote for a third-party at the risk of seeing someone they don't like get elected?

    Possible third parties this year:

The well-heeled Americans-Elect, which sounds sort of Liebermanesque, is poised to field a candidate:

Americans Elect 2012 | The first direct presidential nomination

The increased interest in Libertarianism and the rather appealing Gary Johnson could get some real notice:

    Gary Johnson 2012

The Tea Party clearly doesn't like Romney, and there's a chance they could field their own candidate.

Have yet to see a "real" libertarian, but Johnson is coming close.. or at least the part of the libertarian party I like..

Better than any of those fake ass other LINO's...
