Anecdotal incidents that are taken out of context..

Consider a devout catholic or devout Baptist having the same thing happen.. sometimes torture is in the mind of the person tortured..

Sleep deprivation has a pretty serious effect after a prolonged period of time, particulary if you are in isolation.. don't minimize or belittle any of this.. all I hope is that in any war we do not have a lot of POW's.. because we have broken the rules..

I would rather have my head cut off with a dull steak knife than have some damn women rubbing my legs, no wonder Muslims hate us.

    God Damn America

Yeah the opinion of someone hocking a book is much more persuasive than sworn testomony in a trial and videotapes of interrogation...

BTW I don't consider a 1 -2 min waterboarding torture and perfectably acceptable whith a high value prisioner. YMMV.

you are just as bad, if not worse than the terrorists. Our respect for human rights and the rule of law is what makes us different from savages. Its what has built our nation, and maintained our freedom.

These same techniques you so PROUDLY endorse, are the same ones that The United Sates has convicted people on for war crimes.

you should read, think and determine what is right and wrong, before being told by a spin machine or think tank....or anchor....

After World War II, we convicted several Japanese soldiers for waterboarding American and Allied prisoners of war. At the trial of his captors, then-Lt. Chase J. Nielsen, one of the 1942 Army Air Forces officers who flew in the Doolittle Raid and was captured by the Japanese, testified: "I was given several types of torture. . . . I was given what they call the water cure." He was asked what he felt when the Japanese soldiers poured the water. "Well, I felt more or less like I was drowning," he replied, "just gasping between life and death."
