I don't know how official these numbers are, but here's a list of remaining cap space

Team-by-team cap space, as of March 26 | ProFootballTalk

Pats are currently 10th on the list with just over 13 million left. Jets are just behind us with 13 million left.

Considering we probably still need to add a bunch of depth (a bunch of vet minimum guys who get invited to camp) and draft picks, we probably realistically have several million we could afford to spend if there's anyone BB wants to spend the money on.

Also, Jerry Jones brilliance has left them with $51,000 for draft picks.

Those numbers don't mean much unless you know how many players they currently have .under contract. For example who is in better cap shape. The team that's $30MM under the cap and only 38 players under contract, or the team that's $10MM under and has 55 under contract.

For the record the Pats have 65 under contract to go with that 13.4MM to spend.

    I dunno if I buy that 13.4.

I have them at 12.4 after Vollmer's contract.

The difference may be in Lloyd's dead money. If the patriots chose to spread it over 2 years, that would push $1M from this year's cap to next year, moving the total to $13.4M. We don't know what the patriots did, but it would not be unreasonable to include a spreading of the dead money, or not. Both are reasonable estimates.

this is true but it is a little skewed... during the offseason only the top 51 players under contract count toward the salary cap so anything after 51 doesnt count ei if the 51st highest paid player on the patriots mades $400,000 and you sign player X for $300,000 none of player X's salary is counted toward the cap....also if the patriots signed player Y for 1.2 million only 800,000 would count toward the cap not the full 1.2 mil
